BBC News: Reports " Russia's foreign minister has said prospects of a preliminary agreement on Iran's nuclear programme are "very good" on the final day of negotiations. "
Lets Get Real:
This is the problem with diplomats, they want a deal any cost and the press that covers them have to justify their bar bills, thus they push for a deal. If you look at the US State Department or our own FCO, you have an elite Establishment who think, they understand the issues better, and THEIR right. In most cases diplomats are a pain, you have endless drafts of deals, late and early morning meetings. Great leaders like Ronald Reagan and Lady Thatcher did not trust their own Foreign Ministries, they went with their gut, thus the end of the Cold War and the UK being the sick man of Europe. A deal at any cost is the aim of President Obama and the UN, a better deal would be no deal, time for the US Congress to act.
