Lets Get Real:
In the UK there is judicial investigation on the allegation that the UK used torture in Iraq, while this article looks at the allegations that the US Army used torture to prevent terrorist attacks on Allied Soldiers in Iraq. The use of torture if it stops UK or US Soldiers getting killed has the full support of this blog, its harsh folks, but after 9/11 one's view changed, seeing people pleading for help on 9/11 in New York and this blog in the UK could do nothing, the brave Firemen and Policemen of NY tried but also faced losses in their effort to help. Thus after 9/11 this blog is willing to support what works, either saving Soldiers or preventing a major terrorist attack on the West, its a WAR folks, its not a Court House. The terrorists or rouge nations if they can get their hands on weapons of mass destruction will use them, thus the West has to get its hands dirty, very dirty, no more 9/11's or 7/7s.
