The Obama Administration on this occasion can be ignored by Israel, the old and new Congress will always support Israel over any sanction placed by President Obama. The 2010 Mid Term Elections have consequences on the domestic and international front, any sanction move by Obama will be overturned by the Congress, on this issue both Republicans and Democrats are united in their support of Israel. Thus should POTUS try to place pressure on Israel the Israeli’s will go to Congress and get support for nearly any action, even bombing Iran, in fact the Republican Congress that takes over in January would give Israel a Medal if they bomb Iran. As a President once said, “ Elections have Consequences ” wonder which President stated that, YES it was President Obama.
