Mail on Sunday: Reports on how the Dark Prince Lord Mandelson has described the New Labour Manifesto of 2010 as written by Ed Miliband as a document that could have been written by the left wing Guardian, in other words a vote loser. Don’t be surprised folks to see more attacks before the new leader is announced next Saturday, the old New Labour founders see that the Labour Party is returning to its vote losing heritage. Thus it can be argued that New Labour was a PR stunt, at the its heart it didn’t change Labour, it was a cosmetic cover to win elections. Once Tony Blair was gone, the Party under Gordon Brown returned to its old Labour past, the example being the 50% tax band. it’s a fight for the soul of Labour folks.
