The New York Times: Reports on the move by Iran to places its nuclear fuel in the open, the article states the following, " It was as if.....a bulls-eye had been painted on it. " Lets look at the internal political problems in Iran, the Tehran Regime has major unrest on the streets, the economy is in the toilet due to UN sanctions, and on the external front the UN could place tougher sanctions on Iran. The threat that Iran will go nuclear is a constant worry to Israel, thus they have planes ready to attack Iran should Iran about to go nuclear or a target comes in to view, as Israel has shown with its recent hit job it will take action in the name of its security, thus this move by Iran has to be seen as having many angles. The Western Intelligence community cant be sure how much nuclear fuel Iran has, how about all those secret sites that the CIA or MI6 haven't found yet, thus this move by Iran could be smoke screen, get Israel to hit this open target while Iran builds up its secret reserve while the West thinks it has been prevented from going nuclear. An Israeli hit would make the regime safe in Iran, the opposition would fold, and Iran could move to form an public alliance with North Korea, think of these two evil regimes sharing nuclear information, would keep POTUS up well past 3am. Of course there is always the accident theory, Iran could create a accident, say that its nuclear fuel has gone and bluff the UN. This is risky on the other hand, the CIA and Mossad with its modern technology could smell a fake accident, thus a motive but one this blog does not count, as stated Iran will be the major Foreign Policy problem for President Obama.
