H1N1, 2009 = 1918 or 1968 ?

The Times: Reports that the World Health Organization will declare that the H1N1 Flue is a pandemic. The H1N1 Swine Flue is not like 1918 when tens of millions fell due to its effect, as the Times reports in 1968 a million fell. Lets be honest if I was to ask you what was the major story in 1968, it could be argued that you would state the following, the deaths of RFK, Martin Luther King, the Vietnam War, that LBJ would not run in the 1968 Presidential Election. Thus lets keep calm, so far the deaths are nothing like those that die during the " ordinary" flue season, also in 1918 the world was coming out of World War One, thus the Spanish Flue or Bird Flue had a major effect.
