BBC News: Reports on what President Obama brings to the 2016 Election, " It requires going back all the way to 1988 to find the last time an incumbent president was an unalloyed good in a presidential election. Ronald Reagan, despite the Iran-Contra scandal several years earlier, was still very popular and an active presence on the campaign trail. He gave George HW Bush a decided boost during the Republican convention, positioning his vice-president as the heir to his political legacy. "
Lets Get Real:
In the latest daily tracking poll from Gallup, President Obama has an approval rate of 51%, the Clinton Campaign should use Obama on the trail, it can be argued that the Al Gore Campaign of 2000 did not use Bill Clinton well to get out the vote in the South. The Oval Office should go after Trump and his racist remarks. The question is that enough to get HRC in to the Oval Office, it might be, but one has to point out that HRC is no Obama, she is a weak candidate, thus she needs the Sanders supporters to support her now that she is the official nominee of the Democratic Party. Thus one should expect that HRC will start to draw away from Trump in the polls, if they are still neck and neck later on it could be trouble for HRC and the Democrats.
