Lets Get Real:
Lets hope the new Iraqi Army does not balls this up, after the old Iraqi Army ran away when faced by IS, the US and others are concerned that Baghdad is running when it can barely walk in military terms. It would be a bloody PR disaster if Baghdad fails to take Tikrit, it would make any attempt on Mosul a double hard job, also it would show that the new Iraqi Army needs the support of the US in the air and on the ground. IS has an ideology and it uses fear to keep it people in place, thus they are not just going to give up. The US should have eyes on this operation, to see how their new Army is doing, also keep an eye on the action of troops from Iran. Any military operation in Iraq is going to be murky, ten fold more in Syria. This is going to be a LONG WAR.
