Are we seeing the development of an Al Qaeda State in Iraq, if the Baghdad Government can not get control back the terrorists will grow and start to move for the Capital, this would be a threat to Iraq and the West. An Al Qaeda Government having at its disposal the oil money of Iraq would be a major threat to the Middle East and to Western security, a State controlled by Al Qaeda could prevent oil getting to the West, this could cause massive economic problems in the West. Thus WHAT will the US do about this THREAT, the answer is nothing, to act now would show that President Obama has become a failed President. It was his decision to remove troops from Iraq in 2011 that helped the terrorists come back, and also his lack of action in Syria has helped the terrorists create a new State that goes from Iraq in to Syria. These are troubling developments in Iraq.
