That is the problem with the first wave any revolution, from the French to the Russian, the intellectual elites cant understand that power is taken at the end of the day, the liberals want a peaceful transfer of power, well Lenin took power in October 1917, he was ill and knew this was his last chance, thus he rushed and won, and of course it took Russia up a bloody wrong road. As stated in previous posts the Army and the Muslim Brotherhood want the elections to go ahead for their own cynical motives, the brave protesters want the Army out first, the liberals as the article notes have feet in both camps, thus a weakened force, this allow the Islamic and other power full parties to roll over the liberals. The people who are getting killed and hurt in Egypt might find they are just cannon fodder, the real power wont let them close to victory.
