The New York Times: Reports that the Obama Administration is open to compromise on its health care reform package, the NYT writes, " the White House is ready to accept nonprofit insurance cooperatives instead of a government-run public option in a health overhaul plan. " This would be a very pragmatic move by President Obama, as stated this blog support health care reform but not at the cost of bankrupting the USA. Thus if Democrats and Republican can come together and get a health care reform package that cuts costs, allows Doctors and patients to decide what they need, does not prevent people who have conditions already from getting cover, but also allows in steps to cover those that don’t have cover this could be a good morale and political move by the Obama White House. If you had a Government run health care you would see costs go up, they always go up; the taxpayer would have to pay for it in the long term. The art of politics is getting a majority of what you want, Ronald Reagan was pragmatic, its getting most of what you want out of Congress that’s shows your a great manager of Congress. Thus if Obama follows through and keep the Liberals quite he will get health care reform, it does not matter about the content, it is the title that is good. Also down the line he can deal with those that don’t have medical cover, that the point of two terms. Let us see if the Liberal Leadership in Congress buy this deal.
