Leslie Howard, A Spy ?

Telegraph: Reports on the theory that the well known actor, Leslie Howard was a British Spy, and that he kept Spain out of World War 11, and that the Germans shot his plane down before he could return to the UK. I guess one day we will know the full story, have heard that he and a colleague had been taken for Churchill and his security Guard and that is why the plane was shot down. Also that Howard was doing a runner form a outrage Husband. If the spy aspect is true it would make a great film.
