Doctor Who Review - The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos

Lets Get Real:

The Doctor got 9 distress calls, so the TARDIS crew flew into a battlefield.   The TARDIS landed on a ship, there was one crew member left, he could not even recall his name, the Tardis crew discovered that the plant had a strange effect on the brain, then the crew found that they faced an old enemy, the Doctor and her companions went to rescue the captured crew members.   On the way the Doctor and Graham discussed what Graham wanted to do with the ( spoiler ).   The Doctor ordered Graham back to the TARDIS but Graham said no, he had unfinished business with ( spoiler ).   The Doctor and her companions found that ( spoiler ) had captured five planets by ( spoiler ).   The Earth then came under threat, the Doctor used the TARDIS to take the planets back home.   This was thrilling epic end to the season, the review is limited as not give to much spoilers,  it tied up some lose ends and showed that the companions did not just do what the Doctor ordered.   There is a New Year special on January 1st 2019, but then we fans have to wait for 2020 for a new season of Doctor Who.   The one critic of the new season is that it needed long term arc, the stand alone shows were great, but it would have been nice to have an arc and for the Doctor to have more of a in depth relationship, the rebooted Doctor Who works when the Doctor has some one or thing to lose, that he/she really cares about.
