The Customs Union Debate - Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The hard Brexit supporters are missing the point, they want out of the EU, that will happen on March 2019.   The present fight is about the nature of the customs union with the the EU.   It is really in the weeds stuff, the hard Brexit supporters should take the victory that the UK is OUT in 2019.   The May Government has to be firm with the hard Brexit supporters, the hard remainers need something, so the brexit supporters should allow the PM to give concessions to the remainers.  The Daily Mail writes the following on such a concession," New Customs Partnership —backed by Remainers   It would involve UK officials electronically tracking final destinations of goods coming to Britain. Those heading for Europe would pay the relevant EU tariff and the money handed over to Brussels. Firms selling to the UK would be eligible for a refund, if our tariff levels were lower.  "  One can only hope there are adults on the hard remainers side and also the hard Brexit supporters.
