If one is throwing those terms around, Stalin was a humanitarian because after Nazi Germany invaded he becomes a ally for Roosevelt and Churchill.  Lets be clear Stalin was a mass murder, only became ally after Germany invaded Russia in 1941 after breaking the Nazi - Soviet Pact, thus Stalin had nowhere to go but became Ally of the US and the UK.  Putin is a WAR CRIMINAL, his invasion of the Ukraine and those who have been killed on the orders of the Kremlin! Why Witkoff used the term one can only guess, it seemed even Trump was surprised by the comments!!  Diplomacy should be done by diplomats not a friend of Trump, Trump is major appeaser in the same league as Neville Chamberlain, but the UK had Churchill, when can we a Churchill for today!

The Prime Ministet stated in the House of Commons that he sees himself as a bridge between Ukrain and the Trump Oval.  All the rhetoric since Boris Johnson has been good and supportive. This is the time for action, time to Shame the US and Trump, the President has failed to learn the lessons of Presidents Woodrow Wilson and FDR, he is supporting the wrong side.  If UK troops went in to the Ukraine then this would shame US and its people, do they want to be late for the party as they were in 1917 and 1941.  This is a time for resolve, not hot air of words.

POTUS is right, never tell the press what you are doing, they will only spin it in a negative way, they are Liberal Elite press after all.   The use of ground troops should be selective, as in taking Kharg Island or going after Iran's nuclear stockpile.  If the Elite press had been around in WW2, they all would have been thrown in the Brig by President Roosevelt and PM Churchill.

This blog has never been so embarrassed by a UK PM, he is an appeaser in the mold of Neville Chamberlain.  The UK PM always sticks with the American President, no matter what, the Great Churchill had to see FDR trying to be friendly with Stalin at Yalta.  Eden learned that the hard way over Suez.  The balance this we should consider that the Great Reagan was slow over the Falklands War in 1982, he supported the Right wing Regime in Argentina, he came around in the end.  Reagan invaded Grenada in 1983, without telling Thatcher, the Queen was head of State, Grenada had become another Cuba threat.  Things will strain sometimes, but it will recover with a new UK PM. This blog was watching a Sky History of FDR, US President from 1933 to 1945.  Then turned and watched the news conference for Presidents Trump and Zelensky from Florida.   POTUS was going through his usual routine, blaming the Ukraine War on the Russian hoax and that Biden was the worse President in history.   POTUS loves to hear himself speak, like a broken record.   The Ukraine President was quiet and lets Trump do most of the talking. Wise move from Zelensky.  At the end of the Summit, not a lot happened at least they did not go back.  Trump has a fetishism for defending Putin!!  Thus the War goes on.  Trump should learn from the leadership of FDR, that was a great President. PUTIN will never agree to the Revised Peace Deal.  The Kremlin wants the Donbas and does not want NATO or European Troops in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President has so far not read the revised Peace plan for the Ukraine, as the article notes this has made POTUS unhappy, his son has suggested  that Trump could walk away from the talks, his voters want him to concentrate on domestic issues.  That is the problem with America First philosophy, thank God that FDR was President in 1939 - 41, with leand lease, this helped UK in WW2.    One gets the impression that Trump would have supported the Axis powers, he likes tyrants.

The 22nd Amendment prevents a President running for a third term, it was done after FDR ran won four times.   It was passed by a Republican Congress, sometimes history bites you on the backside.  POTUS could resign and run again, the Courts would have a field day on that issue.  If not for the 22nd Amendment, then Reagan, Clinton and Obama would have ran again, Reagan was popular, thus his VP won, the two Democrats either saw their VP or nominee defeated by Bush 43 and Trump in 2016.  Of course POTUS could be needling the Dems and those on the left.  One hopes Trump is having fun.

The Republicans control all three branches of Government, in the House its by a few Seats, more of a majority in the Senate.  The BBB will confirm the Trump tax cuts of his first term and cut welfare, the Democrats are fighting this with simple point that 3 trillion will be added to the National Debt.  This should be a red line to real Conservatives, but not Trump's Republicans, the US voters will see if he Trump can master Congress like FDR, LBJ, Reagan, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, even the semi senile Biden. Developing!

Democratic Presidents have a habit of laying about their health, Woodrow Wilson about his stroke, FDR that he could walk, he had polio, JFK about his Addison disease and TV's West Wing President that he had MS.  The voters have a right to know that President Biden does not have Parkinson's disease or some form of dementia, that would explain his debate performance.   The White House is fighting back, that is good, as POTUS has stated, he is the only one to have beaten Trump, and Trump is the security threat to the US to the Western Europe and the pushing the Russians out of the Ukraine.  The Democrats have shown that they do not have a profile in courage when it comes to Biden.

Hamas is doing the above to seed mistrust of the Israeli Government and create discord with those that support Israel, they want to force the US to prevent Israel sending in the troops, the number POTUS should recall is 444 days that the Tehran held the US Embassy staff in Iran as  hostages.  They play on people emotions, you need cold hard thinking when making decisions on international politics.  The Israeli Army has recalled three hundred thousand troops to the Colours.  The story thread in Israel is that they should take down the main terrorist group in Lebanon that is supported by Iran, think 1941, when Japan attacked the US, the Roosevelt Administration wanted to fight Germany, lucky for FDR, Hitler declared WAR on the US a few days later.  In other words Israel has to get lucky, and hope that Iran makes a big mistake when it comes to attacking US troops in the region.  The Israeli Government is not as lucky as the UK was in 1941, then the US had FDR as President, its Biden in the Oval now,  a weak old man.  Also seeking a 2nd term.  Hamas wants a ceasefire, then it MIGHT release 50 hostages.  They are playing games, the innocents are the pawns, Israel must not play their game.

The above are FINE WORDS, but words at the end of the day, there comes a time when you have to walk the walk, and DO SOMETHING, the KYIV Government has been asking for a NO FLY ZONE since the start of the WAR, it is about time POTUS changed his mind on the subject, people are getting killed every day in the Ukraine and the WEST DOES NOTHING, yes the West is arming the Army of the Ukraine, but sometimes have to take on the role yourself, the Ukraine Army is fighting for the Ukraine and the West, the WEST cannot avoid a conflict with Putin, the same as the West faced in 1939.  Sometimes in life or a history of a State, events just happen, and you have to deal with the consequences, the US needs a new FDR if Biden wont play that role, and the UK needs a Churchill, in fact the entire world needs a CHURCHILL, that is the only way to stop the Russians.   That sentiment,  Sir Winston would have understood.

The above is not going to frighten Putin, what POTUS seems to have forgotten is that the UK and US stood up to Hitler, the UK from 1939, the US in 1941 after the bombing of Pearl Harbour by Imperial Japan, and few days later Hitler declared WAR on the US.  The West has to get the fact that WW3 might have already started, who is to say that Putin will stop with the Ukraine, the economic sanctions could force the Russian people on to the streets, thus Putin might want to divert their anger by attacking the Baltic States or invading Poland.  The West has to make sure that Putin loses in the Ukraine and is seen to LOSE, otherwise the entire World could be at risk.  In 1939 the UK had Winston Churchill and the US in 1941 had FDR, our present LEADERS are not in their league, let's hope they find their backbone and ACT to DEFEND OUR DEMOCRACY.

Thus " President " Manchin has ended the Biden domestic agenda on the HILL, the Senator has been very CLEAR over the holiday period, he has had enough of talking about BBB, its dead as a dodo.  The Biden Oval has shown that it is no FDR with the New Deal, or LBJ with the Great Society or Ronald Reagan with his tax cuts or Bill Clinton with the boom years of the late 1990s.  The Biden Oval should look to refresh his domestic agenda staff, they have let him down, they pushed the Senator to his wits end, they didn't get the fact that the Senate is 50/50, this is not like the large majorities that FDR or LBJ had, also Biden cannot cut it on the Hill.  One does hope that Biden does a  better job in foreign affairs, for the sake of us all.

FDR and LBJ will be turning in their graves, Biden was trying even what they never pushed for, welfare from birth to death, the mistake Biden did was not understand or could not recall that FDR and LBJ had big majorities in the House and Senate and LBJ only got his civil rights bill passed with the HELP of Republicans as the Democratic Party then had right wing Democrats as part of its majority.   It has been interesting to watch CNN this morning, they had every LIBERAL on, these Liberals cannot count either, the Democratic Leadership should go to Senator Manchin and tell him to write up a bill, that he likes and support, and also get some moderate Republicans in to the talks, one could see Senator Romney might vote for it, if he can fine tune it, and there might be others, you have to ask people for their vote, not assume its not there or it will be a NO.  The Elite Media Press will want the Biden White House to make life hard for Manchin, let's recall the Democrats only have the majority with Manchin, without Manchin its OVER.  Liberals needs to learn to COUNT.

This is CLEAR warning to the House and Senate members that they should not try to force something down the throat of the Senator after he has made it CLEAR as water that he will VOTE against.  The Liberal Leadership is pandering to the very liberal base of the Democratic Party.  As the Virginian results shows, the suburbs will go back to the Republicans if the DEMOCRATS push their luck to much.   The Biden Oval should try to get back to the deal it has with Senator Manchin before, if they push to much the Senator has made it CLEAR that he could vote no to the whole package, how many warnings do the Democrats need.   As has been shown by Virginia, Candidate Biden was not elected to be the new FDR or LBJ, the voters wanted a normal President, in fact a boring President, anyone than Trump, if the Republicans are smart they could look to the new Governor of Virginia as future nominee for the Party.

One assumes that even President Biden would not say the above in less he was 100% he has the votes in the Senate.  Biden's Chief of Staff has stated that the both Biden Bills is up there with the NEW DEAL, WHEN your Chief of Staff has to say that, it means that the books have been cooked because the meal is not that great, some major liberal demands have had to be thrown in the bin because two Democratic Senators have the whip hand and Biden had to go with what they would accept.  Thus it can be expected that the first of the bills, the infrastructure bill will be passed either today or tomorrow and then the Biden social agenda will be passed by the Democratic controlled Senate.  Thus big wins that the Democrats can run on in 2022 in the MID TERMS and also help with Governor elections in Virginia and New Jersey.  One has to tip ones hand to the Democratic leadership, they came politically good at the end.

The President and Speaker could not get the House Liberals to pass the Infrastructure Bill, their power seems limited, the Speaker is a spent force, she has promised numerous days that the House will take up the Infrastructure Bill and she has been blocked by the liberals, when your members are not afraid of you any more and they will not follow you, its time for a Speaker to go, this blog would not be shocked if Speaker Pelosi does not run again in 2022 Mid Terms.   The above might be accurate for next week but not for NOW.  The US President will be seen as weak by other Leaders, he could not get the House Liberals to trust his judgement on the SENATE, one would not be surprised if Biden does not run in 2024.  One hopes the VP has her campaign on ice, ready to move should Biden not run, he will be far to old in 2024.

Thus by the end of the week, the Biden Oval will have two big wins, one on infrastructure and a social agenda, the LIBERALS at the start wanted 6 trillion to spend on the social agenda side, then they cut it to 3.5 and now it looks like it will be between 1 to 2 trillion.  If the legislation is passed before the President goes to Glasgow then it will give the Biden Oval a victory to compare to the New Deal and the Great Society.  The Democrats need something to sell, thus they can sell policies that are popular on their own when polled.  Also it will help the Democrats in the 2022 Mid Terms.  Thus a good week for POTUS.  The Democrats have not worked out how to pay for their Agenda yet, there is the talk that billionaires will be taxed, of course the very clever billionaires will just find a way to not pay or pass the costs over to their customers.   In the end the Middle Class will be shafted, as the tax burden will fall on them,  they do not have any real influence on the HILL, no matter what the Democrats say, so here we have another TAX AND SPEDND LIBERAL PRESIDENT, they never learn these liberals. Reagan in his diaries placed the blame on LBJ and his Great Society for the debt of the US Government at the time.  As always the Gipper was right.

This shows that POTUS is not going to run for a 2nd term, and he thinks he going to lose the Congress to the Republicans, the Biden Oval does not care that House and Senate members could lose their Seats in 2022 Mid Terms or the Presidential Election in 2024, he wont be on the ballot and he will always get great reviews from the LIBERAL press, such as CNN and the liberal New York Times.  Six weeks is a risk, a lot can happen in a WEEK, what if the Senator Manchin wont budge from his 1.5 trillion top line, what if the other Senator has other demands, she is a bit of enigma to the Democratic Party and the press. What if other Senators think they should also be getting attention and decide to act up, no one wants to be seen a stupid sheep following orders.  Biden is taking a BIG RISK, not for himself, he will be out by 2025, but the other Democrats could go down to defeat.  

This blog got it wrong in previous post, it though the fix was in, even this blog gets it wrong, to much time watching CNN and reading the Guardian.

This is make or break for the Biden Agenda on the Hill, his infrastructure bill was passed in the Senate with a united Democrat support and 19 Republicans, the 3.5 trillion welfare bill, the Government looking after you from birth to death has problems, the moderates will not support the 3.5 trillion price tag, how many zeros is that?  The LIBERAL left want to go for all its aims while they have control of the House, they think that the Republicans will take either the House or Senate next year.  If Biden can pass his agenda he will be up there with FDR and LBJ, the problem, its adds trillions to the national debt and tax hikes, the Democrats say tax hikes will cover the cost of the welfare bill, the problem is that there are never enough rich people to tax, it always the middle class that gets shafted.   Thus a fun week if your a political geek or a LIBERAL.
