Berlusconi OUT - Eurozone Crisis

Guardian Live: Reports that Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi has promised to resign after his austerity budget has passed. Thus another EU politician bites the dust folks, the internal political pressure and pressure from the bond markets was to much for Berlusconi. Although the Italian PM will go this does not solve the faulty economic structure of Italy, the 80s UK reforms of Lady Thatcher have to be imposed on Italy. The Unions and the Professions will cause resistance, and who will push through these reforms, who is the next hard man of Italian politics.

The SHAME of Greece - Eurozone Crisis

Telegraph Live: Reports that the Troika of the EU/IMF/ECB are demanding that the Greek Opposition leader sign a letter in writing to confirm that the EU deal will be accepted in full, Mr Samaras has said NO. Are the Troika in their heart of hearts trying to push Greece out of the Euro, to shame them out or get them to walk out in anger. Its as if the Troika don’t trust the Greeks, WHO DOES, but even then, does it have to be a public argument. Greece really is in a hole of its own making.

Berlusconi and Itlay

Guardian Live: Reports the following on the Berlusconi win in the Italian Parliament but losing his overall majority, “ ..It is also being described as the 'worst possible' result by analysts -- as the stricken PM can cling onto power ”. As stated this blog is not convinced that PM Berlusconi will see the loss of a overall majority as a major defeat, yes it causes political problems, but it’s not a vote of confidence, and France and Germany can not demand the head of the Italian PM, last time this blog looked the European Union was a formation of Democratic Countries. Time will tell with Italy folks, the Italian bond rate is heading for the 7% psychological jump, then the PM would have to go, as the Markets would have lost confidence in Italy.

Berlusconi & Austerity - Eurozone Crisis

BBC News: Reports that the Italian Parliament has passed the austerity package of PM Berlusconi, by 308 votes, with the Opposition not voting and Government MPs deserting the PM, this made 321. The Coalition Government lost its overall majority in the Italian Parliament. Thus the calls for the head of PM Berlusconi, the question will he resign or will he bluff it out, this blog is going for the bluff, one can not see the Government MPs voting for a No Confidence, this would be turkeys voting for Christmas, more crisis episodes from Rome Folks, PM Berlusconi didn’t become a billionaire by walking away at the first sign of a crisis, also the EU cant afford to allow Italy to go down the toilet, the EU could never bailout Italy, to big folks.

Italian Bond Rates = Eurozone Crisis

The New York Times: Reports that Italian bonds have reached a point that forced Portugal, Ireland and Greece out of the Bond Markets. Thus folks we have the austerity and confidence vote in the Italian Parliament, it can be argued that the Coalition MPs wont want to be turkeys for Christmas, they will vote for confidence. The same thing happened in Greece, then the PM was out, but Italy is not Greece folks, PM Silvio Berlusconi will not want to go out under the impression that Italy is broke, and that he has been forced out by the EU. Thus expect more Italian crisis episodes, if Italy goes under it cant be bailed out, the Germans will not allow ECB to print money, Weimar Germany any one, when a loaf of bread could only be bought with a wheelbarrow of junk German currency. At some point the PIIGS will have to get out of Euro, this just might save the Euro and the EU folks, but its bet, could go either way.

Cain and Conservatives

The Hill: Reports that well known Conservative have come to the support of Herman Cain. Lets be honest folks, the deal with Mr Cain is that he is not Governor Romney, the Conservative base of the Republican Party does not trust Romney aft his previous liberal views, thus to find a charismatic Conservative who happens to be African - American was a great delight to Conservatives, but the glare of a Presidential run will show any weakness, thus we shall see if Mr Cain can come through this fire, if he can then he has a real chance at the White House in 2012, but we need to see more of his wife, does not look if your wife is not about, helps with the PR. Lets recall Bill Clinton has Hillary in 1992, saved his political bacon, even if lied through his teeth.

Cain TRIAL by Press

Guardian: Reports the following on the latest sexual allegation against Republican Herman Cain by Sharon Bialek, the article states the following, “ potentially politically devastating detail how she was allegedly sexually harassed by him 14 years ago. ”. Lets be honest here folks the left wing media will go crazy about this story, never mind the truth, a Conservative Black Republican has to be as clean as snowflakes, otherwise the left wing main stream media will make its business to destroy that candidate. The general public can expect more negative articles on Mr Cain, lets set aside the allegations, the fear on the left is that Cain would destroy their political base in the US, thus they will use any allegation no matter its foundations to kill off a Campaign, lets see if the Cain Campaign can come back, it will be tough folks, there is now a face and specific details and dates, if true its curtain for Mr Cain, on the whole its still Romney all the way in 2012.

Herman Cain and Sexual Assault Charge ? - Graphic Detail

Telegraph: Reports that a 50 year old woman, Sharon Bialek has come forward with a detail charge of sexual assault against the Republican frontrunner Herman Cain. There is now a face to the sexual charges against Mr Cain, the Cain Campaign has rejected the charges as false. Thus the result folks, is Cain finished ?, really depends if more women come out and with similar kind of charges, or if the main stream media as they will try to make sure that the Cain Campaign cant attack Ms Bialek. Politics is a brutal business folks, can the Cain Campaign come back form this, as stated depends on future events, but it does not look good, pity in many respects, the Republicans can not afford to have their own Bill Clinton. Thus its Romney all the way folks, Conservatives might not love Romney but at least he is not Obama, and is a pure as the driven snow when it comes to scandal.
