What are the Russians playing at, it might be an attempt to show to the Russian people that they tried for TALKS before the erase Ukraine from the MAP.  The Ukraine Delegation should be MAKRE FIRM DEMANDS, a ceasefire, the Russians return home, that there be REAL HIGH LEVEL talks between the Kiev Government and Moscow.  The Kiev Government is trying to show that it has tried even in a WAR to have talk, that should make the West feel guilty for not placing sanction on the gas and oil from Russia.  This blog has argued that the Kiev Government has to make up its mind, how much of there cities and lives are they willing to lose, it would be better to go full insurgency, getting support from the Wes, in this case the US and UK, make the Russians fight the Ukraine WAR, in the woods and mountains.  The lessons of Vietnam and Afghanistan show that insurgency can work, it just takes time and the patience to wait out the enemy.

This is the FOG WAR, it has been reported in the UK that Kherson had fallen to the Russians, even clips from phones of Russian tanks on the streets.  It has to be asked, are the people of the Ukraine willing to see the total destruction of the cities or a better option would be to go full insurgency, that means using the WOODS and MOUTAINS, as the Afghan rebels did to the USSR between 1979 - 1989, in that WAR the USSR lost around fifteen thousands soldiers, if the Ukraine reports are accurate the Russians are heading to that number quite fast.  If the Ukraine forces are killing large numbers of Russian soldiers that will get back to Russia, will that force the people out on to the streets to protest against the Putin Regime.  It can be argued that the Kiev Government should remove its leader and soldiers from the cities and hit the Russians on the long roads of the Ukraine.  Time could be the greater weapon for the people of the Ukraine, there are 44 million people in the Ukraine, the Russians invaded with around one hundred and ninety thousand soldiers, that is not enough to occupy the whole place.

Why is the FRENCH PRESIDENT still speaking to Putin, he is a WAR CRIMINAL of the first order, also it makes Putin believe that the West will come around after he wins in the Ukraine.  The West has not pulled the plug on his oil and gas revenue, thus he knows that there are military limits and economic limits to the actions by the West.  The Ukraine is asking for a NO FLU ZONE, that cannot happen, if it did it could lead to WW3, thus the West is right to refuse that, when it comes to oil and gas sanctions, then the West is on very shaky moral ground, the politicians do not want to cause inflation to go up and also the cost of petrol, how much is the general public willing to pay or not pay for their gas, if heating or driving costs more are the general public willing to support their political leaders if those leaders place sanctions on them.  That is a political question that the West so far does not want to answer, it is happy to supply lethal military kit to Kiev but there are limits, the West is does not want WW3, and Putin knows that, if he is sane and that is open to question.
