Guardian - Live Blog: Reports in its 2.40pm post the following, " Just last month, the Dow hit a record high of 29,551 points. At just 24,420 right now, it’s 19% down from that peak -- a very bruising slump that has hit US savers badly. "
Lets Get Real:
Stock Markets go up and down, the spreading of COVID - 19 and the oil barrel war between Russia and Saudi Arabia have spooked the markets. It would be a good idea for the US and UK Governments to shut down the markets, they are spooking people. The foundations of the UK and US economy are good, low inflation, low unemployment, and low bonds, ( allowing Governments to borrow money ). COVID - 19 is not forever, it will burn itself out, as did the SPANISH flu. The markets need to time to stay calm, the 24/7 news channels are not helping. It might be the time to censor some of the news, it just scares people, sooner or later it might have to happen.
