Clinton WANTS to be VP

Fox News: Reports that Hillary Clinton has let it been known that she wants to be VP to Obam. This is the last thing Obama needs, a Change Campaign can not have Hillary and Bill Clinton on board. One word Baggage. The Clinton Cadre will trot out the historical record, JFK and LBJ, and Ronald Reagan and Bush 41. of how the winner and chosen the runner up. ADVICE TO OBAMA, THIS IS YOUR FIRST LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE, YOU HAVE TO SAY NO TO HILLARY CLINTON.

1976 = 2008

Washington Post: A excellent article by Lou Cannon, he looks at how 1976 is like 2008. The election cycle has many ghosts from this era. Mr Cannon asks a central question, what will be the role of the Hillary Clinton, Cannon writes the following, " Will she choose to be Ronald Reagan in 1976 or Gerald Ford in 1980? " in 76 the Gipper did not raise his finger to help Ford; in 1988 Reagan made sure Bush 41 was his successor; while as Cannon points out, " Ford, with a characteristic generosity of spirit, forgave Reagan and worked tirelessly for his election in 1980. " It should be noted that Reagan was willing to have Ford on the ticket in 1980 as Vice - President but Ford on national television stated he wanted to be Co - President, this is a problem Obama would have if asked Hillary Clinton to be his VP, she might not ask to be his equal on the TV but there is a chance she would act like his senior and then there is Bill, what do with Bill!! Nancy Reagan was an effective political operator, Bill has lost some of his magic. Obama has a chance to really start a new chapter and move to the centre if he picks Hillary Clinton its back to the bad old days. Advice to Obama, pick any one else, Governor Richardson would be a good choice at the moment.

Clinton and 08

New York Times: Reports on the last full day of the Primary fight, interesting article it seems split on what it wants to say, at the start it states the following on Bill Clinton, " he went out venting the kind of anger that has punctuated his efforts to put his wife in the White House. " On the other hand, it stresses the good aspects about the Clinton years. At end of the day, its over for the Clintons in less Obama throws her a bone of the VP spot.

Obama the WINNER

Breitbart.com: Reports that Obama has crossed the finish line, he is the Democratic Nominee for President. The first African - American American to win the nomination. This is very historic day. Am going to give Obama a second look, lets see if he can move to the centre, the main issue is Iran and Iraq.
