Latest Iowa Poll
CNN - Politics: Reports on a new Iowa poll from the Iowan Des Moines Register, in this poll Governor Romney leads Congressman Paul by 24% to 22% with former US Senator Rick Santorum on 15%. Thus a tied race folks, with the social conservatives in Iowa going to uplift the Santorum Campaign, what is interesting folks as the article notes if you only take the last two days of the polling, that would the following result, Romney still on 24%, but the new second being Santorum on 21% and Congressman Paul on 18%, but as the article notes the sampling error for the last two days of the poll is 5.6%, thus if your Paul Camp you can dismiss it, while the Santorum Camp can hope that those that have not made up their minds are now going for the former US Senator. Well its day and half to go folks, thus we will have a result by morning UK time. Then off to NH, and more polls, ah you have to love polls and their margin of error.
Those Iowa VOTES
The New York Times: Reports on the raise in the polls of former US Senator Rick Santorum. Folks lets get real here, the Republican Party needs a candidate who is Conservative but does not frighten Independent and Conservative Democrats voters. That candidate is Governor Romney, yes this blog has sought out someone else, Parry, Cain, Gingrich, but for one reason or another they cant win, thus we are left with Romney. The liberal New York Times would love the Republican fight to go on for a long time, Conservatives need a quick process, that means what ever your doubts in Iowa, you have to chose Romney, he has stated he will repeal ObamaCare, and be more tough with Iran. It time to WIN folks, thus vote Romney.
Out of THEIR Minds! - Miliband’s New War
Guardian: Reports that the Labour Party is attacking the BBC for “ ..lack of political balance in its news coverage …Labour chiefs have written to the corporation raising concerns.. ”. If Ed Milliband really thinks that the BBC is supporting the Coalition Government he has lost the plot, the reason that Labour is doing badly is HIM, the voters have made their judgement on Ed Miliband, he does not cut the mustered, he is seen as left wing, the Unions gave him the job, also he killed off his brother's political prospects. The BBC is so Guardian readers its would be really surprising if they did anything positive about the Coalition. The press during the Blair years feed off the crumps given to it, well up to IRAQ. Lets get real here folks, Miliband is no Tony Blair, Blair was a great actor, Miliband just comes across as odd, not your natural leading man, you can see Blair walking around Downton Abbey, Miliband would be the under footman that no one likes, harsh but true folks, politics is all about vanity now folks, do you look good on TV, you have to be reasonable actor or a showman, and Miliband is neither at the moment.
The Miliband Brothers at WAR?
Telegraph: Reports that the Miliband brothers, Ed and David are still at war over Ed Miliband’s treachery of taking the Labour Leadership from his brother. As the article notes some of the heat of War has gone, but there are still tensions, the only remote way that Ed Miliband has a chance of becoming PM is if David forgives him and it is seen to be real, also he has to get David back in to the Shadow Cabinet, otherwise any “ fake “ mending of the bridges will not be taken as real by the general public. Ed Miliband took actually the same route as his brother David, Oxford, working for the Labour Leadership, in his case Gordon Brown then in to Cabinet. To take your brothers dream for all of his political life shows you lack that human capacity to care, if you don’t care about your brother and the effects of such treachery on your mother then will you care about the public.
US and Iran, Tensions
BBC News: Reports that President Obama has signed in to law new sanctions against Iran’s Central Bank. The US has now called the bluff of Tehran Regime, lets see if their threat of military action was bluff, in a way this places POTUS is a tight spot, if tries his instinctive approach of appeasement the Republican candidates can define him as another Jimmy Carter, this is not a good image for the 2012 race, thus Obama will have to follow through with his forced tough actions. The law allows POTUS to suspend the law for six months, if does that that takes you very close to the November election, the Tehran Regime has already started to play games, it has sent a letter to the EU requesting talks on its nuclear plans. This will take the following track, talks, they delay, then concessions, then threat from Iran, then back to square one, these Persian games have been played by Iran for Years. It time to get tough with Iran folks, before Israel has to hit Tehran, even a nuclear hit.
