Reagan and Gorbachev's INF Treaty - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The Russians have been wanting to get out of the INF Treaty for years, this break with the Treaty by the USA will go down well with Putin's Russia.  Former President Gorbachev has come out against the move, one does wonder what the late President Ronald Reagan would have thought, it can could be argued that Reagan would have supported Trump, when he was a candidate he opposed other deals made by US Presidents and the then USSR.  As Putin's Russia has been cheating for YEARS.   The mainstream liberal press will not be happy, it does show that Trump can be tough on Russia, that is good before the November Mid Tems.

PM May and the House of Commons - Brexit Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The PM will be interested to read the papers tomorrow, will they support her or back a new leader.   The UK voter just wants the EU finished with, it's going on for months.   If the extension gets us out of Europe and gets a deal with EU then it is worth thinking about.  The question is the cost, how many more billions will it cost the UK.  On Wednesday the PM faces the 1922 Committee, will they support her or will the Party need a new leader by Christmas.  Interesting few hours and days for the PM.

PM May in the House of Commons - Brexit Update - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

Thus the PM says 95% of the withdrawal agreement is agree, the sticking point is the other 5%, and that is Northern Ireland.  The PM will face the 1922 Committee on Wednesday, that could be the point that the PM find her time is up, she needs her MPs to keep their nerve, but she has being saying that for ages, and we still do not have a deal with EU.   The PM has to make clear that she is a bloody difficult woman ( her own words ) and make it clear to her MPs she will fight for on, that it will take a vote to get rid of her and who else have they as a leader.    This COULD be a critical week for the PM.

Rosa - Doctor Who Review

Lets Get Real:

This was a fine historical episode, alright it might have been a bit preachy, but that is not a BAD THING, the racism faced by African Americans in the 1950s should always be retold.  The HEROIC ACT of Rosa Parks showed the racism of the South and how it was backed up by illegal laws.  All the cast gave a great performance, there was a sci aspect, it is Doctor Who after all, but did not damage the point of the story.  This episode should be shown in Schools as a historical example of what happened and should show what TV can do, there is a reason to watch Sunday's again.
