Woodward vs. Obama's Oval

CNN - Politics: Reports the following on the war of words between the Obama Oval and famed Watergate reporter Bob Woodward, the article notes the following, " An email exchange between two old Washington hands ....is at the center of a political controversy Thursday as two sides read the messages differently. ".

Lets Get Real:

Lets see what the elite press do folks, do they support one of the men that bought down Richard Nixon, or the Chicago Oval,  the press should recall Nixon's enemies list, and if it Bob Woodward today, it could be them next, lets recall your dealing with a Chicago political operation, they think D.C is an extension of Chicago, and thus the same ruthless rules apply.    This blog tends to take the corner of Woodward on this, who would you trust, the man that bought down Nixon on a Chicago run Oval.    If its the Oval you should not be reading this blog, your simple or a New York Times/Guardian reader.

The Chicago Way and Famed Watergate Reporter Woodward

Telegraph: Reports on a conflict between the Obama Oval and famed Watergate Reporter Bob Woodward, the article notes the following, " ..was accused of falsely claiming he had been threatened by a senior White House official ".

Lets Get Real:

This is what happens when you combine Chicago politics and winning a 2nd term folks, the Oval thinks it can walk on water, it is even more dangerous when it is a Chicago Pol, on the whole the press have covered for the Obama Oval, thus when a reports gets out of line they think they can go on the attack and not reaction.   This is massive mistake, this Bob Woodward, part of the team that bought down Richard Nixon, you really do not want to make him an enemy, thus time for the older hands in the White House to calm the Staff, tell them you do not got after the press, they are there forever, and they have very long memories, bad mistake Oval.  Grow Up!.

Limited US Support for Syrian Rebels - Syrian Crisis 2

Lets Get Real:

This recalls the weak response of Bush 41 and Bill Clinton to the early years of the Bosnian War, the lack of action as Tony Blair stated of late is a policy decision, the Assad Regime knows it has the support of Russia and Iran, at the UN the Russians block any real action against Syria, while Iran through Iraq air space give military support to Syria.    Thus as long as Russia and Iran have the back of the Syrian Regime and the West has such a tepid response more Syrians are going to die, real leadership is about taking decisions that are not popular at home, the Liberal left would go bonkers should the Oval place US troops on the ground in Syria, but because Syria has weapons of mass destruction this might be the only choice folks,  lets hope the Obama ego does not lead to the Assad using chemical weapons on his own people, based on the idea that Obama will never really take military action, US Presidents sometimes have their hand forced, Obama might have no choice at the end of the day, either US troops or Israel has to do a major strike, real politic is a harsh business folks.

US support of Syrian Rebels - Non lethal HELP

BBC News: Reports that the US has stated that it will give direct support to the Syrian Rebels, it will give the  Rebels food and medical support.

Lets Get Real:

One can assume that the Syrian Rebels will be less than pleased, as the article notes since the revolt started two years ago over seventy thousand Syrians have died and the UN and the Oval has done nothing,  the Syrian Rebels will have seen that Islamic extremists or terrorists are supporting them more, thus when the Assad Regime falls, and it will fall folks the West and the US will not have that much influence in a new Syria, the worry for the Oval and the West must be that Al Qaeda will have great influence in a new Syrian Government,  and thus a threat to Israel and the Middle East.  The question that has to be asked is how many Syrians have to die before the Oval acts, a hundred thousand, a million, at what point does it become a  morale issue that that Oval can not avoid.   This is the time for the Oval to act, time for the Obama Administration to lead the West, and not lead from behind.
