US General KILLED in Afghanistan - Afghanistan WAR

Lets Get Real:

The Obama's policy of transferring the combat to Afghan troops might be the biggest mistake yet of his Presidency,  when ever Obama or Biden take an interest in foreing policy it goes VERY wrong, lets see, Biden could not get an agreement for US troops to stay in Iraq, thus the rise of ISIS, when Obama increased troops to Afghanistan he set a cut off date, thus showing our allies and the Afghan people that Obama had no interest in Afghanistan.   Then we come to Syria, at one moment Obama's refusal to back his own words of action has cut the power of US in the Middle East and showed that Secretary Kerry does not have the ear of the President.    In Israel the Obama Administratoin is NOT seen as a friend, thus what ever Obama says about the Middle East is thrown in the bin by Israel.   Thus today we have the death of a Major General is the US Army, questions will be raised about the policy of the Oval towards Afghanistan, Obama waffles and others die.

Bush 43 on Bush 41 - The Bush Era

Lets Get Real:

This will be interesting, Bush 43 looking at his father's public and private life, it will be interesting to see how Bush 43 deals with the First Gulf War and his father's decision not to go in Iraq, and how that is different from 2nd Gulf War of Bush 43.   How as Vice - President under Ronald Reagan he saw the role of the US in Afghanistan as the Reagan Administration support local rebels against the then USSR.  How the failure to look after Afghanistan by Bush 41 and Bill Clinton lead to the creatoin of the Taliban.     How the defeat in 1992 to Bill Clinton allowed Jeb and Bush 41 to start their own political careers, how Bush 43 made sure he won in 2004.   One wonders will be the book be hard hitting, one has doubts, that would ask to much of a loving son.

Ebola Case in New York? - Health Crisis

Lets Get Real:

As the article notes the man is most likely not have ebola, but there will come a time when a mass killer virus does hit Europe and the US, the West since the Spanish Flu has been lucky, on the whole there have been limited cases of deadly virus's but they have been contained.  It is the duty of Western Governments  to be ready for the day when they have to close borders, when the work day schedule will have to go through the window, there will be restrictions on how many people shop, there will be strict hours of the day that people are allowed out with a surgical mask.  Then how does the public react to mass deaths, what are the social, economic results of such a virus.    The day will come, sooner than later in the history of the Earth's timeline, this Century the next, will Governments react better than those at the end of World War One.
