House of Commons vs. House of Lords - Post EU

Lets Get Real:

As the House of Lords is full members appointed by the Governments and Opposition one would think they would not try to subvert the will of the people.  IF the remainers try to subvert the will of the UK voter then they must be abolished, the EU vote was last year and it was a clear result, by more than a million votes the people decided they wanted out of the EU, this has to be respected, lets hope there is no funny business in their Lordship House.

Divisions with Labour over EU - Post EU

Lets Get Real:

THE above resignation shows how divided Labour is over EU, there were two resignations last week and now this one, the urban areas represented by Labour MPs on the whole want to stay with the EU, the Northern Seats held by Labour have been asking for years what has the EU done for it, not a lot, just the burden of regulations, such as on fisheries policy.  One hopes that the Labour leadership has control of the Labour Lords and makes sure they do not try to subvert the will of the people, there should be a simple vote to accept the bill and then it can be signed by the Queen, the Sovereign.

Article 50 for Leaving the EU passes the House of Commons - Post EU

Lets Get Real:

THIS is a good day for Democracy, the will of the UK voters has been respected by a majority of Parliament, also it shows there are more divisions within Labour than the Conservative Party.    THE next step is the House of Lords, lets hope their lordships do not try to subvert the will of the UK voter, if they try the Conservative Party should called a General Election with two objectives, that the UK voter approves of Brexit for a 2nd time and that the House of Lords should be abolished if they do not pass the Article 50 bill.
