In Obama/Sarkozy talk they agreed the following, “ ..With regard to Libya, they agreed that Qadhafi and the remnants of his regime needed to accept that their time is up and relinquish power once and for all, and they welcomed the progress that has been made by the Libyan people in pursuing an end to the Qadhafi regime. At the same time, they agreed to continue to work with allies and partners in the international community to protect the people of Libya and to support a peaceful transition to democracy. President Sarkozy joined the President in urging the Transitional National Council to continue demonstrating its leadership by respecting the rights of the people of Libya, avoiding civilian casualties, protecting the institutions of the Libyan state, and pursuing a transition to democracy that is just and inclusive for all of the people of Libya. ”. At the end of the day once Colonel Gaddafi is either dead or arrested Libya can move forward, if Gaddafi is not removed, then Libya can not go forward.

Reporters as Human Shields = CNN

Guardian: Reports on a report from CNN’s Matthew Chance that the reporters in the Rixos Hotel in Libya are being used, as in effect human shields by Gaddafi Security Forces. As stated the new Libyan Government has to secure the safety of the reporters from the Gaddafi thugs, or NATO should send in its special forces, this story is quite worrying, in Revolution anything can happen, thus the need to protect reporters, so get a move on new Libyan Government or NATO.

38% Approval for Obama = Gallup

Gallup: Reports that in its daily tracking poll, President Obama has a 38% Approval rating, while 54% of Average Americans Disapprove of the job performance of President Obama. It takes some doing in being more unpopular that Colonel Gaddafi, will the fall of the Mad Dog the Oval should have gotten a bounce in the polls, any more success in Libya and POTUS will face a challenge for the Democratic nomination. As Bush 43 had to deal with mission accomplished slogan, it seems Obama has his own, leading form behind, what kind of tin ear, or liberal bonkers would come up with that idea. The greats like JFK and Reagan had great lines, with Reagan it was “ tear down this wall Mr Gorbachev ” during the end of the Cold War. If you lead from the front Mr President you would understand what the term POTUS really means in the US and around the World.

Reporters and Libyan Front

Telegraph: Reports that Reporters in the Rixos Hotel in Libya are being held against their will by the Gaddafi Armed supporters. They rebels should get to this hotel quick haste, the need to disarm the Gaddafi supporters and secure the safety of the reporters. Or the presumed US/UK Special Forces should go to break out the reporters. This is has been a developing story for days folks, lets hope this is shorted fast by the rebels.

Gaddafi Compound Taken - Libyan Front

BBC News: Reports that the Libyan Rebels have taken the compound of Colonel Gaddafi. This success folks is down to NATO in part, all the morning the NATO planes were bombing the site, but the main question is what happened to Colonel Gaddafi. Is he still in Tripoli, has he returned to his home town, is he still in Libya. The Gaddafi Regime is OVER folks but the final full stop comes either with the arrest or death of Colonel Gaddafi. The Libyans have won one for themselves but also for the Gipper.
