More US Troops for the Middle East - Update

Lets Get Real:

This could really be about Kharg Island in Iran, the Island is the tap for the oil from Iran to the outer world, taking this would force to Tehran Regime to talk, they would not have the money to keep support in Iran, the Islamic Regime is as bent as you can come, they keep their street support through paying for thugs to harm and kill people.   The move on Kharg Island would be risky, there would be ground troops, Iran would try to kill or kidnap the troops and show them on Iranian TV as way to get to Americans, on the other hand this would be a mistake, the American psyche still recalls 444 days that Iran held the US Embassy staff in Iran, during the Carter Presidency.  Trump will want to win and quicky, he has the Mid Terms coming in November. 

NATO Countries are cowards over Strait of Hormuz- Update

BBC News:  Reports in its 2pm the following, " Trump calls Nato allies 'cowards', saying it would be 'easy' for them to help open strait  "

Let's Get Real:

This stings, Trump does not understand the sacrifice of UK military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.  One might disagree with Sir Keir Starmer, but can argue that he has called the Iran War correctly, the US objectives are numerous and the closing of the Strait of Hormuz should have been planned for, Trump is so erratic, no fellow leader could trust him and place their naval personnel in danger, oil is not important as human lifes.  The above comment still stings.

US could take Kharg Island with Ground Troops - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 11.31am post the following, " US' considers occupying Iranian island' - and why that would be 'really serious' for Tehran  " 

Let's Get Real:

If US takes Kharg Island it would force Tehran not to threaten the Strait of Hormuz, Kharg Island is the tap of Iranian oil, therefore the US could turn the tap off and on for Iranian oil.  That would bring the Tehran Regime to its knees.  This would mean placing ground troops on Iranian soil, the Democrats would go mad, but could be useful for the Republicans in the Mid Terms in November.
