General Election in 2016? - May Era

Lets Get Real:

The Labour is broke, the leader is at war with the MPs, Shadow Cabinet Ministers have to do double jobs, and even then that does not cover a working opposition.   The hard left of the Labour Party is more interested in destroying the Labour Party than in giving up leadership. This can only end when the Labour Party splits, its only a matter of time NOT IF.    The moderates with Labour should form a Center Party, then we can have a effective Opposition.  The Labour Party either reforms or it goes the way of the dodo, it's their choice, do the MPs have the guts to follow through.

The Labour Leadership Contest - Update

Lets Get Real:

Politics is a brutal business, just when Angela Eagle started her leadership bid the political press was watching the outcome of the Conservative contest, the succession of Prime Minister Elect Theresa May as the next UK PM.   Thus when Ms Eagle called on the press, BBC or ITV they were nowhere in sight.    As the Conservative contest closes the Labour one might have another candidate tomorrow.    If the ruling body of the Labour Party allows Jeremy Corbyn to be on the ballot  without the need for 51 votes then he will win, and the stand off will carry on, this could split the Labour Party.   As always the Conservative lead while the Labour Party falters on.

A Profile of the next UK PM - Theresa May

BBC News: Has a profile of the next UK PM Theresa May.

Lets Get Real:

Thus the UK will have its 2nd female PM, the first being of course Lady Thatcher.  It has been stated in the reviews that May does not like to whine and dine with fellow MPs, a fault that bought down Mrs T in the end, also she does not need much sleep and is very much in to detail, two aspects also shared by Mrs T.   If Theresa May is half the leader that Thatcher was the UK is in good hands.  Let us hope that May means it when she says that she understand what the UK voted for in the referendum, that out means out of the EU.
