Tough Years of Public Spending Cuts - Coalition Government

Telegraph: Reports on a interview that UK PM David Cameron has given the Sunday Times, the PM stated that the UK faces " years of pain.." in public spending cuts. As we have seen with Hungary of late the new Coalition Government has found that the economic books of the UK are in a far worse state than PM Gordon Brown and the Labour Party let on, the Labour Chief Secretary to the Treasury stated to his successor that the money had gone, the Labour Party in its last months in power spent money like a drunk sailor, no wonder they wanted to go in to Opposition. The Emergency Budget at the end of the month will be hard folks, but it should allow the UK not to become another Greece, its always the same with Labour, every time they leave Office they have destroyed the economy.

Labour and the Coalition Cuts

BBC News: Reports on the critical reception of the Coalition cuts by the former Labour Foreign Secretary and Labour Leadership Candidate David Miliband. The Labour Party has one hell of a cheek to be attacking the Coalition Government when it left the Government economic books in such a financial mess, the UK owes 156 billion folks, the interest is in the Billions, if Labour cant see their own faults for this mess they will be out of power for a generation.
