WORDS

Great Ad, shows Obama in his true colours, does what it takes to win, more ads like this, keep it on policy, show that McCain is the real deal.

Clinton for VP Redux ?

RCP: Bob Beckel argues for Hillary Clinton to be the VP for Obama. One word this would be a disaster, its a Liberal Political daft view to be blunt, lot like the West Wing between seasons 1-5 was to do with real politics. Hillary Clinton on the ticket would be like having a hurricane about to go off in the shape of Bill Clinton, this is not the old Bill Clinton, these days its all about the Clintons. It would not matter if Obama was the nominee, we would be back to the bad old days of the 19990s. Its time for the Democratic Party to move on and forward, they have started with Obama lets not go back to the bad past.

A Trend ?

Bloomberg.com: Reports on a commanding lead for Obama in its Bloomberg/Los Angeles Times poll, in a direct match up or with others Obama has a double edge lead. In the direct match up Obama leads by 12%. In the Poll Obama 49% - McCain 37%. This is the second poll to show Obama ahead by double digits, this could show that the Newsweek Poll was correct, but still no great movement in the tracking polls. Lets have a look at the Gallup and Rasmussen, in the Gallup Poll Obama has a 3% lead over McCain, Obama 46% - McCain 43%. As stated a split vote does not help Obama, if one looks at close races, Obama tends to lose, thus we still have a even race. The Rasmussen Poll has Obama ahead by 4%, Obama 49% - McCain 45%. McCain Camp should be happy, McCain has reached the 45% mark at last, while on the other hand the Obama Camp should be worried that Obama cant get pass the 50% mark in these tracking polls.

The RCP average polls has Obama ahead by 7.3%, but these include the Bloomberg and Newsweek Polls, they could be right but have my great doubts. But if the tracking polls catch up with these polls it would be a big win for Obama, but we have to wait, this is going to be a long race.
