The DOWNFALL of the OBAMA ERA?

Time: Reports on how President Obama went from hero to zero in the United States. Read of the Day.

Obama DOWN in Gallup Poll = 49% Negative Rating

Gallup: Reports on its latest daily tracking poll on President Obama, the latest trends are not happy news for the Oval, the poll finds the following, Obama 49% job disapproval, while 43% approve of the Obama Presidency. These are not good numbers for the Democrats facing a tough election in November, the ending of the oil spill in Gulf, the start of Middle East Peace Talks have not give Obama a bounce, in fact his numbers have gotten worse. In less Obama can turn the economy around and fast he will be a one term President, a charismatic Gordon Brown.

Review of Tony Blair's A Journey

Guardian: A good review in the Guardian for Tony Blair, the article states the following, “ this is a more honest political memoir than most and more open in many respects than I had anticipated. ”. This blog is still in the process of reading the book, what it has noticed is on my tweet page, little gems that didn’t make the papers, but it is a page turner, might not win the Noble Prize for Lit, but will be read in the years to come, the book should help the PR image of Tony Blair with the UK voter, with the Labour Party that is a different question.

Blair and Miliband, that is Junior!

Telegraph: Reports that ex Labour PM Tony Blair thought about backing Ed Miliband the brother of David Miliband in the Labour Leaderships contest, but a talk between the two showed that Ed Miliband was not really New Labour. One can see the thought process in the mind of Tony Blair, if the Labour Party wins the next election he wants a job, just like David Cameron has placed two former Conservative Leaders in the Cabinet. In the case of David Miliband there is a chance of the Foreign Office, with Ed Miliband and his move from New Labour there would be no job, and lets recall Mr Blair is still a young.

Failed the Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan ATTACK on Blair and Brown

BBC News: Reports on critical comments by the former head of the UK Army Sir Gen Sir Richard Dannatt on the conduct of the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by Labour Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. The basic attack folks is that Gordon Brown while Chancellor of the Exchequer would not fund the Wars of Tony Blair, and that Blair was afraid to order his future successor. The in essence Labour feuds costs the lives of brave soldiers, lets be honest most political disagreements don’t matter in the end, they don’t cost lives on the whole, but the under funding of the Wars by Brown and the weakness of Blair is a stain on their characters, giving money by Blair to hurt Soldiers is not something that will ever clean away that guilt.
