Senate = Bailout of Wall Street is ON !

The New York Times: Reports that the President and Senate leaders are going to push for another bill to bailout Wall Street. This shows the elite agenda, even after defeat yesterday they act as if the vote in the House of Representatives does not matter. Is this a Democracy or an elite wall street system. The poor tax payer is expected to bail out Wall Street Fat Cats and pick up the bill. Call, email and text your Representative, let them know you will vote against them if they support the Bill. Should Congress pass the Bill, THROW THEM OUT OF OFFICE.

Bill Clinton, Dems are to BLAME! - By McCain

A great Ad by the McCain Campaign, letting Bill Clinton blame the Democrats for the Wall Street Bail out. One critic it needs to be about thirty seconds, the modern voter has a limited span of attention. Cut Ad and do a national run. Play of the Day.

Post Debate Polls

Lets have some fun folks, we need it after the last couple of days, lets see how the candidates are after the debate and the Wall Street Mess.

Gallup: Reports a six point margin between Obama and McCain. The Poll finds the following, Obama 49% - McCain 43%. On one level if in the Obama Campaign would be selecting the drapes for my West Wing Office, on the other hand these polls would trouble me in some respect, its just after an economic 9/11 you would think Obama would be in double digits not single digits. Also do you recall New Hampshire and Indiana, in NH Obama had a double digit lead and lost to Hillary Clinton, also in Indiana Obama had a two point lead over Clinton but lost by two. Thus if you postulate that the polls are four percent off, Obama and McCain are tied, and in a tied race Obama will lose, harsh but simple folks. Obama needs to get a double digit lead well before November.

Rasmussen
: Also reports that Obama has a six point lead, in this poll Obama has managed to get over the 50%. The Poll finds the following, Obama 51% - 45%. Obama needs the next four Weeks to be about the economy and he should cross his fingers that Israel does not attack Iran on the presumption that an Obama Administration would veto any plan. Israel might not attack before the Presidential Election but after is another matter, even Bush might green light that attack, Obama could not attack Israel and Israel would to use a snooker term, snookered the President Elect.

My two penny on the state of this race is different, not based on calling voters, not even at looking at the polls in detail. I think the race is about Obama 47% - McCain 45%. Thus Obama has four weeks to win this race and get a double digit lead before November.

The Bush Era

The White House: President Bush has stated the following on the Wall Street Bailout and the defeat yesterday by Congress, " But the reality is that we are in an urgent situation, and the consequences will grow worse each day if we do not act. The dramatic drop in the stock market that we saw yesterday will have a direct impact on the retirement accounts, pension funds, and personal savings of millions of our citizens. And if our nation continues on this course, the economic damage will be painful and lasting. " Bush 43 is making the same mistake his father did, his father raised taxes when he had promised on the Campaign trail that he would not, his son is now giving the biggest bail out in American History. Those that are arguing this point, only see the Wall Street point, what they fail to see or face the other way is the fact that if you do this bail out the entire structure of the Western Economy will change, in the future if a large company is going to go broke they will go to the government ask for a bail out, if the company has influence and lot of workers thus voters it will get a bail out. The USA will become the sick man of the Western World. Bush 43 has become Bush 41, what a sad end to a Presidency. Bush 43 will not be seen as great like Ronald Reagan but a man that deserted his agenda under elite pressure. Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan different parties but tough and resolute Presidents, not George W. Bush.

The Market

The Economic Melt down of yesterday has not tanked the market, the London FTSE closed 83.68 up and at the Dow Jones at 6.27pm UK time is 352.60 up as reported by the BBC. Those that still want the bail out are not looking at this in a rational way. The Market will recover over time, a seven hundred billion dollar bail out will keep Wall Street happy but Main Street will have to pay the Bill. Call your Representatives in Congress, flood their offices with phone calls, text, email, make them see that this bail out is not needed. The System will correct itself, if the Democrats want to fund Wall Street let them. I call on the Republicans to oppose this daft Bill, I think Gipper would support you in this action. Let the voters see that there is a difference between Democrats and Republicans. On those in the Market should start to buy shares, this is the time to get cheap but good companies for the long term.
