Comrade Corbyn ? - May Era

Lets Get Real:

One doubts that Comrade Corbyn had any state secrets in the 1980s to give to the Eastern block.  MI6 would hardly give him security clearance and he did not attend the Thatcher Cabinet.  In essence, after Brexit and the election of Trump one hardly know what to say, merely to smile!!!  It is an interesting story as the elite press in the UK, BBC News has not touched it with a barge poll, of course it would be a story during an election.

Labour will BETRAY its Northern supporters - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The majority of Labour MPs are pro remain, they want to thwart Brexit, if Labour goes down this route it would betray its northern roots, areas that voted to leave the EU.  The moaning remainers in the Conservative Party and the Labour Party could thwart the UK leaving the single market and the Custom Union.   The voter through, calls, email, text, twitter and Facebook should remained the MPs that they face losing elections in the North if they try to sink Brexit.   The irony of course is that Corbyn does not like the EU, but is leader of a Party that is being run by pro remainers.  Who said politics is not fun.

Democrats LOSE the PLOT over Russia - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The Democrats have put on their political eggs in the ONE basket in the hope that the Special Prosecutor will find that POTUS or his family colluded with Russia, in that they have been joined by the liberal main stream media, from the New York Times to CNN.   Even CNN of late has not doing much on the Russia front, what if there was NO Collusion, they are going to look like fools, who wanted to believe in a story so much that they forgot they were reporters.  The blog has doubts that the SP will ever find that golden egg, talking is not collusion, and to find that Trump and family colluded will take firm evidence, not what goes for news on CNN and the uber NYT.

Tuition fees and Universities - May Era

Lets Get Real:

The UK needs to take a long and hard look at tuition fees, in general this blog supports the free market view of fees, the best courses charging the Max, while less popular courses going for the lower rate.   The idea that half the population should go to University is a MISTAKE, if everyone has a degree then there is no competition in real life.   Those that do not want an academic education should not be forced to take it, vocational courses should be funded, and given the same respect as Academic, that means a cap and gown at Graduation.   Life is not fair, neither should be higher education.
