Crisis over Defence Cuts

Mail on Sunday: Reports that three Junior Defence Ministers will walk if there a major Defence Cuts. The Coalition PM and Conservative Leader David Cameron will have to find a way to keep the right of the Conservative Party on board for the public spending cuts that will hit the Middle Class, the best way to keep the right of the Conservative Party happy is to fund Defence. Thus advice to Mr Cameron find something else to cut rather than the Defence Budget, delay the welfare reform for a few years and fund defence.

Those University Days!

Guardian: Reports that University Tuition Fees are going to have a major hike. The question of University funding comes down either higher tuition fees or a graduate tax, as the money is needed at this moment in time then it seems it has to be tuition fees, this blog recalls days when you had a grant for University, but those days have long one, thus modern students will face thousands of pounds of debt when they leave University, and even then the might find that there is no job for them in the long term. Thus one has to ask who is the solution, its harsh and truthful folks, not all people should go to University, it was a bad idea for various Government to increase the level of students in higher education, there are some very silly degree courses out there folks, also these days if you go for a job of a barman you could find that others seeking the job have a Doctorate, this means those that leave School at 16 or 18 with no qualifications are stuck in a lifetime of low paid jobs or no jobs, thus the present problem of the welfare state. Lets be honest folks the education and welfare elite have really messed up the system, is trying to do good they have destroyed lives.

Good Conference for the Conservative Party

Telegraph: Reports that the Coalition PM and Conservative leader David Cameron had a good Party Conference, the Conservative Party has gone ahead of Labour in a new poll after Labour took the lead after its conference, the results is as follows, Conservatives 38%, Labour 34% and Lib Dems 18%. The Coalition Government better enjoy these polls leads, the spending cuts are going to make them very ( VERY ) unpopular in the Country, the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats will have to keep their nerve, the pain in the short term will be good in the long term political stakes, closer to the election if the economy has recovered the Parties can offer major tax cuts, the axed benefits can be bought back if the economic books are the black and the Labour Party will be seen as a dodo, of course this all depends on the economy.

Don’t REJECT New Labour - Mandelson

BBC News: Reports that the Dark Prince New Labour Lord Mandelson has warned the new Labour Leader Ed Miliband not to reject New Labour, its was New Labour that won three elections for the Labour Party. The new Labour Leader Ed Miliband has stated that New Labour is dead and buried, well this was bound to get the Dark Prince in to the light, the architect of New Labour does not want to see New Labour defined as a limited PR stunt, it can be argued that Ed Miliband will have problems with Blair, Mandelson and Campblell down the line, the more that “ Red ” Ed “ Brutus ” Miliband takes the Labour to the left, the more New Labour founders will fear that their time in power will be seen as the exception to the Labour history, Tory light period in many respects. Thus the Blair Camp will find a new leader if David Miliband wont take on his younger brother, Blair has stated that he would like to back to UK politics, well the Coalition wont give him a job thus he needs a New Labour back in power, if Ed Miliband wont play ball then Blair etc will find a new leader, lets recall even Gordon Brown is furious with Ed Miliband, thus if this blog was Ed Miliband he would watch his back, he could have Blair, Brown and Balls all wanting to knife him in the back when things go wrong, and they do even in Opposition.
