The EU and Brexit - Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The left wing Guardian takes the side of the EU when it comes to Brexit, they are in the same camp as the BBC and Sky News.   Anything that the EU says is positive while the British side is seen as stubborn.   Those that support a clean Brexit have to come out fighting.   The PM's speech to the Conservative Conference on Wednesday should be interesting, will she show that she can change her Brexit plan or are we in for weeks of in fighting in the Conservative Party and between the EU and the UK.   Ah for March 2019 when we are out of the EU.

The Kavanaugh Investigation - Update - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The memory is a fickle thing, we change it as to keep in line with who we think we are, that can be negative and positive, so to the Kavanaugh case, this blog thinks that elections has results, Trump wants Kavanaugh on the bench, the Conservative voters wants him on the bench, it is just liberals who are trying to STOP him and will use anything they can to STOP him.  IF you have ever been to University or College you know that drinking goes on, it is were you learn to be a semi adult before you enter the work place.   Anyone can make allegations, if they are true is another matter, so far there is not enough to stop Kavanaugh becoming a Judge on the Supreme Court.

Even a light bulb sometimes crashes - Brexit Update 2 - Post Brexit

Sky News: Reports " Philip Hammond compares Theresa May's Brexit plan to the light bulb...The chancellor calls on colleagues to back the PM's Chequers plan, saying there will be a "deal dividend" for the economy. "

Lets Get Real:

The elite left wing press will have a field day with the light bulb comment, they will show flicking lights going off with Brexit.   As stated the Chancellor has a tin year, no wonder the PM wanted to sack him before the General Election.    The PM should go for a Canada free trade deal plus plus with the EU, this would have majority support with Conservative MPs and a few brave Labour MPs. The question is will the PM move or will she have to be overthrown.    These days UK politics is not boring!!

The Conservative Party Conference - May Era

Lets Get Real:

The Chancellor is right but he has a tin year when it comes to politics, he wants to remain close to the EU, while a majority of the Conservative Party wants to leave and have a very long distance relationship with the EU.   The most interesting speech will be the one given by the PM, will she keep to her Brexit plan or is she open to a canada free trade deal plus plus with the EU.   On the whole the Cabinet has kept together, they have supported the PM, but a month is a long time in politics, let's see what happens over the next few weeks.
