No Thanks, Keep Your OIL = EU

Guardian Live: Reports that the EU will place an Oil embargo on Syria due to its repression of protesters. Lets see if this has any effect on the Assad Regime, have my doubts, as long as Iran backs up Syria then the regime is safe, also the US has made it clear that it will not take any military action against Syria, thus the Regime just sees a lot of hot air coming out of the West. The people of Syria will have to WIN their own freedom, there is no JFK or Reagan in the White House.

The Murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher - Libyan Front Line

Telegraph Live: Reports that Abdulqadir al-Baghdadi a suspect in the murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher in 1984 has been found dead in Tripoli. After the missteps over news coming out of Tripoli the UK Government and MI6 should investigate this case closely, make sure that the alleged suspect is dead and seek proof that he was indeed either involved in the murder or was part of group. Also lets send over a team from the MET, a joint intelligence, police investigation of the case.

Surrender OR Else - Libyan Front Line

BBC News: Reports that the new Libyan Government has given Gaddafi Security forces in till Saturday to surrender or face military action by the rebels. One can postulate that Gaddafi will not give up that fast, he could use Sirte his birthplace and other towns to form a counter attack against the rebels in Libya. Once NATO stops bombing, the loyal Gaddafi forces could go urban insurgents, they could over time become a threat to the new Government. Thus Sirte has to be taken, and ALL security forces loyal to Gaddafi have either to be arrested or killed, otherwise this civil war will never be over, and that would be a nightmare for Libya and the West.
