Obama falls BELOW 50% Approval - Gallup

Gallup: Reports that President Obama's approval rating has dropped to 47%, while those that have a negative view of Obama is at 46%. One has to ask does POTUS want a second term, he is no Reagan, one gets the feeling that he would rather take the Democratic Party over the cliff in the first term and fail at re-election. Has the USA elected another Jimmy Carter but worse. Poll after Poll has shown that Obama has lost the Independents, its easy to get them and lose them, its a lot harder to get them to come back, the Liberal Reagan that was seen in 08 has turned in to a combination of Carter/Mondale, and they both got crush when running for re-election in 1980 and when Mondale was the candidate in 1984.

The Abortion Vote - US Senate

Washington Examiner: Reports on a crucial Abortion vote in the US Senate today, if it passes it keeps Conservative Democrats on board for health reform but at the cost of liberal Democrats, if it fails Conservative Democrats could block the Health Care Reform. This could be the major vote folks, if Liberals win the moderate and Conservative Democrats in the House could bolt to oppose the Bill. Let see how good a politician Obama is when it comes to the trenches of vote getting on the Hill.

Shots in Tehran - Iran

BBC News: Reports on shots being fired at protesters in Tehran. Lets be clear here folks, the regime in Tehran will use the nuclear card to stay in power, they have to in many respects, they need the UN to pass hard and tough sanctions, then they can come down hard on those that are opposed to the regime. The question is how far the regime will go, does it want a War with Israel or the United States, that the one way to make sure that the regimes stays in power. Thus the clock is ticking as to has fast the regime will fall before it goes nuclear, and stated yesterday all politics is local, can the pressure from the UN and the USA push the regime out before it goes nuclear or before it starts a war in the region.
