Obama's Economy

Telegraph: Reports on the Obama plan to secure the economy of the United States, the usual Democratic line, spend, in this case sixty billion. What about the eight hundred billion already out there to help Wall Street. There is a limit how much government can spend, the pandering of Obama could lead to a recession, the funding for this pandering would be to raise taxes, that last thing you do in a recession is to hit the rich, if the rich don't spend, those below don't get the benefit and every one will lose.

Fighting McCain !

The Times: Reports on a speech by Senator McCain, in which he admits he six points behind and that Obama has the drapes ready for the Oval Office. As the speech was also on TV it should be noted that the speech was not some resignation but fighting talk. The tone of the article is negative, this is not new, the Times has been down on McCain for weeks. I get the impression and could be wrong that the word has been given from on high, its Obama. Lets recall it was with the help of the Sun that Tony Blair got elected. The Election of Tony Blair turned out well, Two Wars and his successor has to deal with an Economic 9/11.

Wall Street UP, 936.42, - FTSE 100 UP, 324.84

The New York Times: Reports on the up swing on the Dow Jones, but points out an important fact that the Credit Market is not open till Tuesday. It seem like a long time ago but the credit that banks would not give to other banks started this mess. But it can be postulated that the Credit Market will start to get to back to business, so if you got the money buy, buy early tomorrow. The Hedge Funds will have started early, but there are still bargain's to be had, so
Buy, Buy.

Buy, Buy, Buy

BBC News: Reports on the bailout of the banks, to the tune of thirty seven billion pounds, our money by the way. This is the time to go heavy in to the market, if you have the cash go in now, avoid the banks but go for companies that have a good record, Oil is always good etc.

NTA Awards - Vote Dr Who

Its that time of year folks, the National Television Awards. Lets all vote for Dr Who folks, the only decent drama on Saturday Night. Lets vote for either David Tennant or Catherine Tate in one category, why ITV have placed the two stars in the same category could be down to the fact that Dr Who always nearly wins Best Actor and Best Actress. In the Best Drama lets vote for Dr Who.

The Last Debate, Obama - McCain

Fox News: Reports that Senator McCain has stated he will beat Obama in the next Debate. The maverick side of McCain has to come out, he has to take Obama apart on tax, on national security, as it was mentioned on one of the networks, Obama would not get a security clearance if they checked his past associations, the domestic terrorist Ayers and Pastor Wright. McCain has to show that Obama is not the change but a reverse back to the past, he is a tax and spend liberal, who would appease Iran, would give up on Iraq and would he really support Israel. This is the last chance for McCain.

Spread the Wealth by Obama in Ohio

I caught Obama in Ohio on Fox News, he was being asked about his Tax Plans, he stated " Spread the Wealth " in other words tax the rich to help the poor. Obama has now won yet, his political handlers need recall that Walter Mondale was defeated as he was seen as a tax and spend liberal. One can see the political ads now, Obama and all the left wingers who have had this view, Mondale, Castro of Cuba. Lets see if the McCain Campaign are quick on their feet and get an Ad out that uses the words of the Senator against him.
