Balls Shadow Chancellor ?

Guardian: Has a positive piece on Ed Balls and his prospects of being Shadow Chancellor the Exchequer. The Coalition Government would love Balls, he has been to close to Gordon Brown over the years, he would bring a lot of negative baggage, he is a symbol of the toxic Blair/Brown War. Lets be honest here folks, Balls has been very effective as Shadow Education Secretary in attacking the new Education policy of the Coalition but the economy is something else, he often quotes that he was right on the Euro, well what has he been right on since, the IMF, the Bank of England supports the spending cuts of the Coalition, Balls only works if they are wrong, while running for the Labour Leadership Balls has stated that there should be in essence no cuts, therefore if the economy turns around due to the Coalition Government policies the Labour Party is a dodo. The choice of Shadow Chancellor could decide the next election for Labour, does Labour want the ghost of Gordon Brown at the table.

Miliband is OUT - Balls

Telegraph: Reports on apparent conformation from the Shadow Education Secretary and Leadership Candidate Ed Balls that David Miliband is out of the Shadow Cabinet. This blog is not Labour supporting and has not time for Ed Miliband but advice Ed Junior if you want to remain Labour Leader and have some power, any power in fact don’t make Ed Balls your Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, you might as well have Gordon Brown running the show ( Balls was the eyes and ears and law enforcer for GB ), its that simple, Ed Balls is a ruthless soso, and that is being charitable, it is reported that Gordon Brown in less that happy with Ed Miliband, one thing about New Labour founders they are not David Miliband, push them to far and they will knife Ed Miliband in the back with out a moments thought, thus Ed Junior pick a new face and keep Ed Balls at a very long distance.

David Miliband on the WAY OUT!

BBC News: Reports on the signs that former Foreign Secretary and Labour Leadership Candidate David Miliband will not serve under his brother as Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer. One has to have a lot of sympathy for David Miliband, to be betrayed by your younger brother is worse that being stabbed in the back by a fellow Cabinet Colleague. Its to the credit of David Miliband that he has not flinched from his vote to approve the Iraq War, but David Miliband on the backbenches might be worse for Ed Miliband the new leader, in politics there is an ups and downs, if the Coalition is right with the cuts and can promise major tax cuts at the next election then Labour is dead in the water. Also should there be a major terrorist attack and the Coalition swings right on law and order the Labour Party is dead in the water. This is my prediction Ed Miliband will not be leading the Labour Party in the 2015 Election, it will be his brother.
