Obama and Clinton

Fox News: A look at the Clinton operation and the new movement by Obama. VIEWS is supporting Obama and McCain in New Hampshire.

Clinton and History ?

The Politico: Article of the day, looks at the importance of the election in New Hampshire, how this will define both Bill and Hillary Clinton, a win, and Clinton will be up there with Kennedy and Reagan, a loss would recall that fear of LBJ that he would be the man between the Kennedy Administrations, Bill Clinton would be the man between the Bush Administrations, in a time of peace and economic growth, the only elected President to be impeached by the Congress. That's how important the election is for the Clinton's.

Bad Politics !

Washington Post: It seems from this article in the Washington Post that the Clinton machine has learned nothing from Iowa, the message of Experience and Change will be combined. Have the Clinton's became so arrogant that they think the art of politics does not effect them, Senator Hillary Clinton can still win, but she has to look to the future, this past look to the 199s, is a big fat political mistake, god awful politics to be blunt. The Clinton Machine is tough but if they go all out in winning the nomination they risk losing the Presidency. Obama has that Kennedy/ Reagan Teflon, when he is attacked it makes the attackers look bad, the Clinton's cant go to hard or in November any Republican Candidate could defeat Senator Hillary Clinton.

Clinton Machine in Meltdown ?

New York Times: Interesting article in the Liberal New York Times, a theme that VIEWS picked up on the networks on Thursday, at the Clinton Concession speech it was like the famous faces of the 1990s, President Bill Clinton, , former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, General Wesley Clark. The NYT writes the following, " Some advisers say that the campaign miscalculated in having Mr. Clinton play such a public role, that Mrs. Clinton could not effectively position herself as a change agent, the profile du jour for Democrats, so long as he stood as a reminder that her presidency would be much like his. Other advisers say that Mr. Obama now owns the “change” mantra and that Mrs. Clinton needs a Plan B. " If Hillary Clinton wants to be President, she has to earn it, its not her god given right because she married Bill. Bill Clinton what ever his faults and they are many, fought and won the Presidency.

McCain Surge - New Poll

Rasmussen: On the Republican side, McCain is still ahead of Romney, as stated New Hampshire will go for McCain. The good showing in Iowa also the lead before should help McCain. The one thing that could stop McCain is if Romney should go very negative. If Romney was to lose N.H its over for him, money or no money.

The Poll:

Huckabee is a now show is N.H. The place is quite secular and has voted for McCain in 2000. In fact it helps Huckabee if McCain wins and Romney is forced out. The next target for Huckabee is South Carolina, lot of religious voters. This will be a clash between McCain and Huckabee.

Obama Surge - New Poll

Rasmussen: A new Rasmussen poll for New Hampshire, has Senator Obama ten points ahead, can the Clinton Machine crawl the Senator back down to political earth in the time they have, less than three days before the vote. Here are the figures from the Poll:

Obama 37 %

Clinton 27 %

Edwards 19 %

If Independents go with Obama this could course serious problems for Clinton and help Edwards . An outside chance, a very outside chance that Edwards could come seocnd in N.H. In South Carolina Obama should win as it has a heavy African - American vote there for him. This would push Clinton to follow the Giuliani plan and wait for Super Tuesday.
