Romney NOT DEAD IN THE WATER!! - 2012 US Election

Guardian: Reports the following on the state of the US race, " ..most experts do think that the many instant media pundits who have spent last week writing Romney's political obituary have jumped the gun..  ".

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks as the Guardian shows the news media, PRINT, TV and the INTERNET, will need to keep the Romney fight going, if just to get something to write, even the uber liberal media need copy, if they bury Romney in September, what are they going to write about for the next couple of weeks.  Thus expect articles from the UK and the US that sees life in the Romney/Ryan ticket, lets recall the media have to sell their product, if the reports call the race over, their Editors will wonder why they paying for them to cover the race.    Thus expect small attacks on Obama, just to keep the fight going, then when it comes to the debates expect the uber liberal media to finally stake the Romney/Ryan ticket.   That is politics and the media today folks.

Welfare State and Tax - UK Coalition Government

BBC News: Reports that the UK DPM Nick Clegg has stated that the Lib Dems will not allow welfare cuts without there being tax raises for the rich.

Lets Get Real:

This is typical Guardian pandering by the left wing Lib Dems, they are in Government but do not want their fingerprints on the tough cuts that have to happen, if you tax the rich you do not get growth, its the rich that buy goods that the Middle Class can not afford but do make in the private sector.  The Labour Party under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown spent all the MONEY, and did not leave anything in the BANK.  Thus it can be argued that the Coalition Government needs tougher cuts, the welfare state has to be cut, the idea that the State will look after you from birth to death has to be removed from the minds of UK voters.   There is a growing older generation but a smaller younger tax base, the young of today will be very lucky to get a State pension, most in their heart of hearts get that FACT, that is why they do not save, why bother, its not going to be enough.   The UK is not great if your old at the moment, for future generations it will be worse,  the UK is out of MONEY, the days of the welfare state are OVER folks.

The Power of Three - Doctor Who Review

Doctor Who News Page:  Reports that the good Doctor was the top Drama of the day on BBC 1, the episode had 5.49 million views ( the overnight ratings ).

Lets Get Real:

The threat in this episode was a plot device to look at how Amy and Rory deal with their real lives when not travelling with the Doctor, how the Doctor can not let them go, one should  never have the Doctor as a house guest, he will drive you bonkers.   It was great to see the Doctor doing domestic and going up the wall, painting the fence, doing the garden, playing tennis via the net, and of course his football skills.   The black boxes were fun, shows how humans can get used to most things, well the British can, even Lord Sugar used them, someone got fired, that was fun.  Also it was a nod  to have Jemma Redgrave play the daughter of the Brig, nice to see UNIT back under the control of a Stewart.   It was good to see Brian, father of Rory ask the real tough question of the Doctor, what happened to other companions, some left, some got left behind, some died.   Thus of course next week folks, the end of the Ponds.  A cracking episode folks, shows you how little boxes can turn you off, and also on, not sure about the science, but loved the concept.
