This spending request, could be a major fight up to the Mid Terms in November. The Trump Oval will have to fight those in the MAGA base who oppose any war. Interesting time ahead for Congress.

POTUS is right, never tell the press what you are doing, they will only spin it in a negative way, they are Liberal Elite press after all. The use of ground troops should be selective, as in taking Kharg Island or going after Iran's nuclear stockpile. If the Elite press had been around in WW2, they all would have been thrown in the Brig by President Roosevelt and PM Churchill.

The US and Israel are working hard to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the Allies should have made sure it was not closed in the first place, they should have warned that any such action would lead to the fall of the Regime and US ground troops. The Tehran Regime is still there, and its nuclear stockpile, both must be removed, or the operation is a FAILURE. POTUS needs to understand that end leads the destruction of Presidential credibility. Trump should recalled what happened to LBJ, Bush 43, Obama, and finally his predecessor Biden and Afghanistan.
