USA - Green Light for Israel to Attack Iran by VP Biden ?

The New York Times: Reports that US Vice President Joe Biden has give the impression that the Obama Administration has given the green light for Israel to attack Iran, the NYT writes the following, " ( Biden ) suggested on Sunday that the United States would not stand in the way of Israeli military action aimed at the Iranian nuclear program. " The problem with VP Biden its hard to know how much of a real player he is in the Administration, also Biden has a foot in mouth problem. Thus Obama could be sending out a message to Iran, the train for talks is leaving you have a short time to start talks or Biden is doing a bit of cowboy diplomacy. Also one has to take in to consideration that Biden's mouth was not connected to his brain. Thus the problem with having Joe Biden as your VP. If by the end of the year Iran has rebuffed any talks, lets face it one cant see the present government in Iran wanting talks with the USA and the West. The Government of Iran need for their own domestic PR to blame the protests on the outside world. Also they might have learnt the lesson for the old USSR, once the Cold War was over the old USSR was in the dustbin of all totalitarian regimes. Thus the Conservative Government of Iran has to become more repressive to survive, thus the action of placing a local UK Embassy worker on trial, the regime will have to become more like North Korea, its a simple matter of survival, thus one can expect an attack on Iran by Israel by the end of the year, Iran will attack US Forces in Iraq, and Obama will have a new war in Iraq. Also if your in the market its time to buy Oil Shares, if your major international oil user its the time to buy your oil at this price for the future, Iran if it starts a war with Iraq and the USA could force the price of oil to go through the roof.

Nuclear Workers under threat in Pakistan

The New York Times: Reports that workers working on Pakistan's nuclear programme have been attacked in Rawalpindi. The USA should offer to provide security for the workers and nuclear plants of Pakistan, what if the Taliban can turn a nuclear worker through ideology or fear, either to him/her or their family. Thus the Obama Administration should demand that US Special Forces be attached to all nuclear plants, all transport of workers should be under joint US and Pakistan security. Think if Obama gets that call at 3am that a nuclear plant or missile is under the control of the Taliban. Thus in pure money terms its worth the outlay now to prevent a disaster down the line.

Our Man in Custody in Iran

BBC News: Reports than Iran is still holding one of the local UK Embassy Staff and that he faces trial in Iran. The Government of Iran has crossed a bridge that it cant return over, it has shown it true face, its not about Islam its about naked power, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has done a backdoor coup, the Conservative Clerics might think they are in charge but the power is now in the hands of Ahmadinejad, he can never allow a fair and free election in Iran now, if he ever losses power he is a dead man. Thus we have in our midst another Hitler or Stalin, lets hope the West has its eyes open this time.

Association of Researchers and Teachers of Qum - Iranian Government Fraudulent

The New York Times: Reports on a split within the Clerics of Iran, the NYT writes the following, " The most important group of religious leaders in Iran called the disputed presidential election and the new government illegitimate on Saturday...". This should be a clarion call to the people of Iran not to give up hope, there is time for the people to fight for their democratic rights. The question is do they have the nerve to stand up to a totalitarian regime, this is not about Islam this is a straight fight between freedom and brute power. The Government of Iran has show that it is another Nazi Germany or Russian under Stalin. If the people don't fight there will not be another election in Iran. The regime has gone to far now, either they go or the people live under a repressive regime, that is the brutal choice for the people of Iran.

The Economy is in the Toilet - The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer

The Sunday Times: Reports that the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling has admitted that the economy is in a worse state than the Government thought and there will be cuts. Some TRUTH from Labour at last, at least Mr Darling seems to know the difference between spin and truth, more that our PM. Mr Brown cant bring himself to tell the truth, there will be cuts in spending, there has to be cuts as we have raided the the old piggy bank just to much under Labour. The Governor of the Bank of England has stated that the Government cant spend any more, its about deep hard cuts in domestic spending folks, even the NHS will have to cut its spending. This is the time for the Labour Party to be reformist, it should state that people can not retire in till their 70, those born after 2010 will have to fund their own retirement later on in life. Those that earn a high salary will have to pay to use the NHS. Expensive drugs beyond government spending will have to be bought by the user, thus the need to develop an insurance for those that want expensive drugs down the line. DNA testing will tell the customer if he or she might develop an illness that needs expensive drugs to cure. Its hard a world, the truth is better than spin.

Deaths in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports on the death of two more British Soldiers in combat operations in Afghanistan. The total of those killed in combat has now reached 144. Those that have died of accidents, illness and other incidents is now 29. In all 173 UK Armed Forces Personnel have died in Afghanistan. There will be more combat deaths, the Presidential Election in August in Afghanistan is to tempting a target for the Taliban/Terrorists. The surges by the USA and UK is an interesting move, the question is will the Taliban/Terrorists stand and fight. How long before the American Left start to see Afghanistan as another Iraq and start to place pressure on Obama to set an Exit route out of Afghanistan. The War in Afghanistan will take years, one thing about insurgents in Afghanistan, they have learnt to wait out the enemy, that goes for the UK in the 19th Century to the USSR in the 20th Century. Lets see if President Obama is tough enough to stand up to his base, if not he could face the fate of Jimmy Carter, Carter was seen as a weak President in Foreign Policy thus the election of Ronald Reagan in 1980, could Obama be defeated by Governor Palin of Alaska in 2012.
