While the World's attention has been on the Strait of Hormuz in the Middle East, the WAR that could lead WW3 has been on going, Russia hitting the Ukraine with Drones and missiles, with no concern towards innocent casualties, and the Ukraine pushing the Russians back in the Donbas.  The Russians only want a ceasefire as on May 9th they celebrate their win over Nazi Germany, the grander ceremonies of the past have been replaced with just soldiers due to the worry that the Ukraine would attack any tanks on the parade.  Also reported Putin is afraid of assassination or a coup from his own side.  That is the problem if your tyrant.

The final decision on a ceasefire will not be taken in Gaza or in Israel, it will be taken by Iran, if they agree and push HAMAS to accepting a deal, it will show they are not ready to take on the US and other Israel other Allies.   This will push any war down the road, and there will be a war if Iran is close to getting the bomb or has the bomb, let's recall that Iran is helping the Russians with its drones, in return it can be postulated that Russian tech will be shard by Russian on placing nuke warhead on missiles.   This is not something that any Israeli Government would be able to countenance NOW or in the future.   The point of a ceasefire is to save the lives of those stuck in Gaza and allow the liberal elite reporters who loath Israel to feel  that they have helped saved lives in the short term.   Nothing last forever, even the theocracy in Iran, who thought that the USSR would go away, to the ash heap of history, we need another Reagan in the White House.

The Biden Administration has to get out of its down way, the Kyiv Government has been begging for these missiles for months, the Biden Oval did not want to to cause problems with Russia and create more tension, when will it learn this is the 1930s all over again, Putin is a WAR CRIMINAL, and no politician with any self respects will never shake his hand again.  Putin's Russia is like Hitler's Germany pre 1939, it is only a matter of time before it strikes a NATO Country on purpose or by accident with intent.   The Baltic States should be a worry, Putin is trying to create the former USSR or Tsarist Russia,  when Finland was a Grand Dutchy.  The Ukraine must be allowed to hit within Russia, the people of Russia have to wake up, only they can overthrow Putin and his EVIL REGIME.

The invasion of the Ukraine by Russia has forced Finland and Sweden to join NATO for their own protection, this is not what Russia wanted, the very action that Putin wanted to avoid has happened, NATO has grown stronger and will feed Ukraine with ammo, the Ukraine  Army needs more ammo, its fighting power had been reduced by the lack of new ammo from the West and the US. The Russians have endless manpower, the Germans found that OUT in World War 2, the Russians had thought they had a deal with Nazi Germany, Hitler invaded in 1941, and nearly got to Moscow, if the Russians had waited and joined the Western Allies, the history of the period could been very different. The simple question I ask, do you see Presidents Kennedy or Reagan going on a picket line, lets recall that Reagan was ONLY President to have been President of his Union,  the screens actors guild.  As above shows Reagan actually fired 11,345 air traffic controllers when the went on strike, Reagan was a tough President but fair, he gave them notice of that fact and the day they had to return.  This got the notice of the USSR, they saw that Reagan was a tough President, he was not weak like Jimmy Carter.  The American voter likes to see some regal image of the Presidency, walking the picket line is not regal, makes you like a politician desperate for votes, and Biden could find himself needing the workers in these  State to give enough electoral voters in 2024.  Well if it a choice between  Biden or Trump, it will have to be Biden, as long as he supports the Ukraine, and does not go gaga on the job.

The Russians are not happy that the UK is giving long range cruise missiles to the KYIV Government, well its is their fault for invading the Ukraine and committing base WAR CRIMES from murder to rape and the missile attacks on the people of the Ukraine.  The Ukraine offensive is expected soon, the Kyiv Government needs to push the Russians back to the Crimea or back to Russia prober.  The Russians will do nothing, they have shown they make empty threats from nukes to other actions.  Putin is a WEAK War leader, no Stalin, and Stalin was not much of a war leader, he was hiding at his country house for the first week of the German invasion in 1941.   One does wonder why the West was afraid of the Russian Army, they have shown that they are useless and War Criminals. It was  a rowdy affair, the Republicans came with attacks lines, while POTUS pandered to the left wing base of the Democratic Party.  Let's be real, POTUS is running for a 2nd term, the problem is that the US voters see him as to OLD and not a GREAT President, the were a few lines on China and Russia, in attempt to appeal to moderate Republicans and moderates in the middle. The Biden Oval should have stressed that more, the support for the Ukraine WAR is down, the Biden Oval should be attacking Russia ever day, show the security of Ukraine is in fact the security of Western Europe and the US.   The House Republicans did not do themselves any good, a President should be listened too, with some respect, the Republicans showed no respect, even the Speaker could not get them to show some respect.   The State of the Union is the kick off for 2024, the only shock would be if Biden decided not run, since that is not going to happen the US voter could face their WORST nightmare, another matchup between Biden and Trump, and Trump is leading in some of those polls.  One does wish sometimes that the UK had vote, no that would have been mistake, we would have gotten another Jimmy Carter term or worst his VP, Walter Mondale, who thinks the Cold War would have ended with them, it would still be going on.

The West has to be quick with its training of Ukrainian Crews for German, US and UK tanks, the Russians see a window to strike before the West has placed their tanks in the combat zone.  The one thing that Russia has is an endless supply of men and women to fight.  Also in Putin we have a leader who does not care how many his people are killed, the sole aim of Putin's Kremlin is to keep Putin in power, and if that means losing hundred of thousands of troops so be it.  The West has a chance to push the Russians out, before their new Russian troops arrive, they are likely not to have been trained well enough to fight a trench warfare, also the regular army wants to make a point that the mercenaries used by Putin are good cannon fodder but not good at taking and keeping areas under its control.  NATO Countries and Allies should start to think about sending fighter jets to the Ukraine, air cover could be important, this is not the time to wait and find out later that the Kyiv Government could have won if they had Western fighters.  Time for the West to WAKE UP and SMELL the RUSSIAN BEAR, it coming for NATO sooner or later.

This is what happens when a WAR is going very wrong and you need a mercenary army of ex prisoners to backup your Army.  This General was in Syria, it seems the General cannot cope with the other side fighting back and that the plan to destroy the civic industry of Ukraine has not made the people rebel against their government, in fact it has made the people of the Ukraine fight harder.  Putin must be worried, his mercenary army is claiming wins without the support of the Russian Army, a Army within a Army they can become a threat, thus Putin must be worried about his future, the Russian people have overthrown leaders who fail them, Tsar Nicholas II in 1917 and in 1991 the end of the USSR.  Thus Putin must be worried he will find himself in a House of Special Purpose, and the fate of the Tsar and his family. President Putin does not have all the time in the world.

One hopes that the transfer of Western air defence equipment is helping the Kyiv Government in takin down the Russian missiles.  The Kremlin will be worried that it is running out of missiles and that the Ukraine feels free to attack Russian bases in Russia itself.  The West has to keep supporting the Kyiv Government through the WINTER, it will be tough in the Ukraine, both Ukraine and Russian forces will be stuck in their trenches, one hopes there is no Christmas TRUCE as in 1914, the Russian Bear cannot be trusted, also Christmas comes later for the Russians culturally.  The attacks on the Russian airfields will alarm the people of Russia and the Kremlin, Putin fears he will be the  TSAR that lost the WAR, the last one and his family were executed in 1918.  The failure in Afghanistan, the Chernobyl meltdown lead to the destruction of the USSR in the end.  The people of the Ukraine are fighting for their freedom and the right to exist, while Putin is fighting to save his own neck and that of Russia.
