Lets Get Real:

This blog warned the voters if you are old or rich or both the Labour Government would come after you, the basic support for Labour is new Graduates and the old trade unions, such as the pay demands from young Doctors were met, while old people have lost the Winter Fuel Allowance, something that could back to haunt the Labour Government in the future.  The PM offers more pain, that will not go down well with voters.   The problem is that Sir Keir has the charisma of a dodo, he is no Tony Blair, as in the 1997.  The voters voted for Labour as they wanted competence, the old Conservative Party and Government had lost the trust of the people.   Pain better come with joy or the Labour Party will lose at the next election.

The debate about the future of POTUS has been going on for a week and half, it was not a great debate, POTUS is old and past it, but he wants to keep supporting the Ukraine and wants to defend the US and Western Europe from the threat of Putin.   The Democrats if they believe their own PR, see Trump as a threat to the US, well if they think that and that Biden could cost the them election, they have to act, if they do not, then they should leave Biden on the ticket, the has earned that from them.  It seems that it is down on the Democrats on the HILL, do they want a contested convention, if so they need to hurry up, the men and women on the Hill need to see the POTUS and tell him in the Oval Office, that it is over,  comes to most politicians at the end of the day!!

Lets talk about the elephant in the room, the Labour Party under Sir Keir will win tomorrow, its a simple lesson, that Governments lose elections, and this case it can be argued that Sir Keir did not win it, one is just waiting for a crisis to come, and it will show that the Labour support is shallow.  At least he is a Knight of the Realm, he will know how to behave at Royal Dinners.  Labour is going to blow it big time, how will they get the money want if they have promised not to increase taxes, the OAP with savings will get hit, they have been warned and have not listened.  All Labour Governments lead the UK to a financial crisis, the trade unions want their polices acted upon, the best day of Sir Keir's career stats tomorrow and Friday, its down hill from there PM. No one ever listens to Cassandra of NORTH WALES.

It was a scrappy debate, it seemed that the PM wanted it more, Sir Keir went on and on about his record as a Prosecutor, do you really think that President Putin will care, should the crisis in the Ukraine get worse.  There were not questions on foreign policy, the questions were all on domestic issues, it ca be fair to say that Starmer was all image and no substance as when he comes PM next Thursday, the crisis's developed, there will be no real support for him.    In other words when the reality of the World comes knocking they will find a PM will shallow support but with a Super Majority, this will be 1997 but worse, Labour could be in power for 20 years, and they will do what they usually do as my friend said, " a Shit show " after 18 months, the gleam will have come off, immigration of the illegal kind will rise, taxes will go up and the people cant complain, they gave Labour a super majority, of over 200.    It will take about 15 to 20 years to get rid of them, the UK VOTER has been told, I do not want to hear that non one told them.   The people get the Government they deserve!

This blog thought it was draw, but one can argue that Sunak WON, his charge that Labour would raise taxes by 2,000 for everybody in the UK, hit home and the Labour Leader did not come up with a clear rebuke.   This blog was shocked that the Ukraine did not come up, what happens if Russia wins in the Ukraine, what will Sir Keir do then, he keeps going on about him time as Director of Prosecutions, what will he do about the WAR CRIMINAL Putin.   One does hope security comes up in the next debate.   Also the Scottish Question, what will Labour do about Scotland.   THIS is going to be long campaign, Labour will win with a big majority, the question can you trust them on security and the defence of the realm.

 I did watch the debate between the Labour Leader and future PM Sir Keir Starmer and the outgoing PM Sunak.  The debate was  a draw, the Labour Party is going to WIN BIG in July, the biggest Majority since 1924.  There is nothing that the Conservatives can do, 14 years in power is long enough, the next Labour Government could be in power for 15 years, that is the point of a BIG MAJORITY, it was take a few election cycles to get them out.   Also let's not forget the Ukraine, WW3 could be down the road!!  The UK voter cannot say that they were not told.

The Republicans have stated for ages that the Biden Oval has the legal authority to close the border, it has taken the fact that Biden is sinking in the polls to ACT.   At least this will remove a political arrow from the Republicans, and the Biden Oval can say that that order would have more force if the US Congress had passed the original Biden plan.  Thus far the political polls are tied, one would think that a Party Nominee who has been convicted of a Crime, would fall away in the polls, that has not happened, could it be that the American people have made their mind up about POTUS and it is not good.  It will be interesting to see the polls at the weekend.

The PM has gone early, it is reported on Sky News that he feared letters going in to the 1922 Committee, he could have waited in January 2025, he either thinks he has a chance, the polls show him the Conservatives losing by 20% to Labour, or he wants to make the Conservative Party and its factions sorry, as they will lose members.  This blog will take an interest in Labour's Foreign policy and Defence, just in case they go nuts again.   The news media will try to make it a competitive race, it wont be, the Country is tired after 13 and half years of Conservative rule, so they want a change, Labour might find wining is not that much fun with WW3 on the horizon, will Sir Keir press that red button if he has too, what about immigration and the welfare budget.  There will be endless press coverage, this blog will be selective as not to bore the reader.

Lets Get Real:

If Sky is right, then the Labour Party under Sir Keir Starmer will not have an overall majority, that is a concern but then the Liberal Democrats will give LABOUR  a supply and support motion, in other words Liberal Dems will support a Labour Budget, but will not want to go in to coalition as they will have learned from 2010.   If that does not happen there are others Parties who might support Labour just to keep the Conservative OUT.  The Party of Thatcher needs a few years in Opposition to decide what it is for and against.   The Party should think about bringing back Boris as leader if he wants the job.   One can expect Labour will make a mess of it, they usually do, the Conservatives can clear up the mess, Starmer is no Blair, and this will not be 1997 all over again.

Thus we wait for the Israeli Government to ACT, one can postulate that Israel will hit, if it is going to on the weekend, no sovereign state could tolerate the recent attacks by drones, cruise missiles and ballistic  missiles and not go on the offensive, deterrence only works if the other side is afraid of the reaction.   The Israeli Government has the Iron Dome, it can shoot down drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, it is very much like Reagan's SDI, a shield to protect Israel, and makes any reaction by Iran a near failure.   If Israel hits Iran's nuclear facilitates  it could set Iran months back from having the bomb, and allow Biden not be an appeaser is the Oval Office.   Time will tell.

It can be postulated that Israel will not ACT in till the weekend, the UK Foreign Secretary is coming for a visit, also Germany.    The Israeli will not want to embarrass the UK or Germany.   A narrow and limited strike will remind the Iran Regime, that there is a PRICE for its attack, this blog would not be surprised if Israel hits Hamas in Gaza hard but also Hezbollah in Lebanon rather than hit Iran.   It can be argued that Israeli honour would be served but without an escalation in the Region.   The nagging thought that this blog has, what happens next time, and there will be a next time, when the US and the Allies are dealing with the Ukraine or China invading Taiwan, who will defend Israel then?   That is a open question, Biden and Sunak could be OUT of office THEN, the West it can be argued is in 1930s mode, they want to appease threats, that never lasts, is WW3 around the corner.

This would be good news if TRUE,  IT IS ABOUT time that Russians with backbone took on Putin and his Regime, lets not forget that the failed Coup got quite close to Moscow and that Putin was on a plane to Saint Petersburg in fear of the attempt.   The question has to be asked, WHERE did these groups get their equipment from, did the West fund them, we might never know, but interesting questions.   It should be noted that there have been reports before of these attacks, but nothing happened, we shall see what happens.

This is another nuclear threat from Putin, he gives them every time the HEAT from the West is to much, the French have stated that troops going to the Ukraine, should not be excluded, this has drawn the WRATH of the NATO allies, this is a mistake by them, what if Russian makes advances in its new offensive, are we willing to see KYIV fall and bring the Russians up to the Polish border, what about the Baltic States.  The Russian bear has to be de-clawed and placed back its dog kennels, the threats do not match reality, the NATO forces could bury Russian Forces, they have the advanced tech, and will use them to take the Russians out, if they breath on Nato ALLIES. Putin is not that much of fool, his steel heart has KGB on it, the West should not worry, the Russia Bear is old and is no threat threat to the West, the West has to be firm with Russia.

It was great see the King back at work, why the King has to meet his PM in person is beyond this blog, the PM has Question Time on Wednesdays, 650 MPs, God knows what they have been up too, and the extra germs they carry, one does hope the PM is tested for COVID before seeing the King.  The King could see the PM via webcam or on the phone, the King is known as a workaholic, he has he his red boxes every night, he has documents to sign etc. The King must be tired with his work and getting cancer treatment, and there is always the Duke of Sussex to worry about. This is a bit shocking and will raise eyebrows on Fleet Street, it is custom for the Monarch of the day to see the PM once a week in person.  The PM has stated that the Doctors found the cancer early, thus the embargo of the King doing public events, as the King is being treated his immune system will be lower, thus the need to prevent the King getting a bug from someone else.   The Duke of Sussex only had between 30 to 40 minutes with his father the King before going home.  There is no thaw in the relationship between the Duke and his brother the Prince of Wales, the Duke will have to wait for the Prince of Wales who is looking after his wife and taking the load of public events that the King would normally do. The King has gone to his Country Estate to avoid the press and have some privacy due to his health problem.  The public should not expect to see the King for some time, the public workload will fall to the Queen and the Prince of Wales, other members of the slim down monarchy will be drafted in to do public events.  The Duke of Sussex arrived today, that was quick, does make one worry about how bad the King's health might be.  The press should not make a fuzz that they do not know what kind of cancer the King has, that is a private matter for the King and family.  The king needs a good rest at his Estate.  GOD SAVE THE KING.

Thus Brexit is finally done, no goods going from the Great Britain to Northern Ireland will be checked, finally after years of argument and political standstill in Northern Ireland they will have their own Government, there will be a nationalist First Minister and a Unionist Deputy First Minister, they have equal power, if the people of Northern Ireland want to be part of the Republic, they can vote for it, its called Democracy.  To think over the number of UK PM's we have gone through since 2016, we shall have a new one when Sir Keir Starmer wins the next general election in the UK, this year or early 2025.

Thus a 2nd major strike on Yemen by the US and the UK, the Houthi in Yemen are not getting the message, their action are a threat to the Western economy, they are getting their orders from Iran, Tehran will use the WAR in Gaza as a reason for the attacks, that is just BS, they want to cause trouble for Biden in this election year.  The West, in this case the US and UK must think about placing troops in Yemen, to guard the shoreline from terrorist attacks.   The whole region is a tinder box, the Allies have to be show they have the power in the long term.

The Israeli Forces are doing a hard job in the right way, as the IDF has shown HAMAS has hid weapons and ammo in the hospital, the Western Media treats information from HAMAS as the TRUTH, while Israel needs to have its information verified from other sources.   The Israeli people and government had their 9/11 on October 7th, the lack of response needs a further investigation, the Israeli Army and police forces were to slow to act.  The IDF has to clear house, one way or another, no matter what the Western Media say or Governments.  The West should learn from this, and prevent further attack on the West.
