This is what Trump and his base want, troops on the ground in Blue States, and the Bluest State is California, home of the Liberal media on the West Coast.  The US in 2024 voted for Trump to expel illegal immigrants from the US, thus this move by Trump.  Except more protest in Blue States, more US military on the ground, the political battle for 2028 has started.

This was a silly trade war started due to problems on the Southern border with Mexico, over immigration and with Canada over drugs, Mexico promised to send ten thousand troops to the border, will this pause make a difference, we shall see, the EU is next, what of the UK, who will they support in a trade war.

The liberals at CNN and the NYT will go bonkers over this, Bush 43 opened Gitmo to look after captured terrorists, it is still open in 2025.  The liberals do not like Gitmo, they think that terrorists have rights, they don't in the view of this blog. The illegal immigrants will be held separate from the old terrorists there, but one can expect in the left in Congress to go bonkers, they consider the issues will become merged in the public mind, illegal aliens and terrorists, it will scare those thinking of crossing the border in an illegal manner.

I noticed so far that CNN on air has not made reference to these family pardons, if you thought Trump was hyper about President Biden and his supposed family crimes, these very late pardons might make you think that he had a point, Biden has covered his son and now his adult family, one can expect Fox News and more moderate channels will discuss theses pardons.  The inaugural address as stated was America First on steroids, from tough immigration rules to renaming Mountains, the very liberal media will go on the attack, that is all they have, so except no coverage in the liberal media, just sob stories about immigration and the defence of the cultural wars.

It is troubling to this BLOG that Harris seems unbale to get past that 50% mark in most polls after her successful debate with Trump, the uber left wing Media go about it all the time, they make sound like Kennedy and Regan.   The VP is not that, it does not matter how many times to hype her, if the voters are not buying that PR, the press should dropped it.  Trump is his own worse enemy, going on about mass deportations and breaking up families does not help, there are many legal aliens  in the US, and they are part of the working class, some jobs Americans will not do, as in the UK.  As Reagan once said if there must be walls, there should be a doors.  The Gipper was the Governor of California for two terms, a border State.  The race is going to be close in the States, lets hope the Harris Campaign spends its money wisely.

It was a scrappy debate, it seemed that the PM wanted it more, Sir Keir went on and on about his record as a Prosecutor, do you really think that President Putin will care, should the crisis in the Ukraine get worse.  There were not questions on foreign policy, the questions were all on domestic issues, it ca be fair to say that Starmer was all image and no substance as when he comes PM next Thursday, the crisis's developed, there will be no real support for him.    In other words when the reality of the World comes knocking they will find a PM will shallow support but with a Super Majority, this will be 1997 but worse, Labour could be in power for 20 years, and they will do what they usually do as my friend said, " a Shit show " after 18 months, the gleam will have come off, immigration of the illegal kind will rise, taxes will go up and the people cant complain, they gave Labour a super majority, of over 200.    It will take about 15 to 20 years to get rid of them, the UK VOTER has been told, I do not want to hear that non one told them.   The people get the Government they deserve!

The PM has gone early, it is reported on Sky News that he feared letters going in to the 1922 Committee, he could have waited in January 2025, he either thinks he has a chance, the polls show him the Conservatives losing by 20% to Labour, or he wants to make the Conservative Party and its factions sorry, as they will lose members.  This blog will take an interest in Labour's Foreign policy and Defence, just in case they go nuts again.   The news media will try to make it a competitive race, it wont be, the Country is tired after 13 and half years of Conservative rule, so they want a change, Labour might find wining is not that much fun with WW3 on the horizon, will Sir Keir press that red button if he has too, what about immigration and the welfare budget.  There will be endless press coverage, this blog will be selective as not to bore the reader.

The sending back to the Home Office of Suella Braverman will please the right wing of the Party, it shows that the Sunak Government will be tough when it comes to migration.  It reported that few days before she was forced to resign from the Truss Government she had a 90 minute row with the then PM over migration.  Braverman wants to send those that come to the UK in a illegal manner to Rwanda , the left, well BBC News, Guardian, Channel 4 News hate this policy, they will be keeping a close eye on the new Home Secretary, they will be after her to make another mistake.  It should be noted that Sunak voted to leave the EU, and promised during his campaign against PM Truss to get EU laws of the UK books.  It should be noted that the European Research Group, the right wing of the Party will be keeping the expensive shoes of the PM to the fire over the Northern Ireland Protocol, also the DUP.  The watch word for the new Sunak Government is Unity, thus a lot of former Ministers are going back to their former Departments. Let's judge the Sunak Government by its actions.

It is toast time for Joe Biden, he needs inflation to go down by November, or look like its going down, he has to beat Putin in the Ukraine, and he needs to give the impression that he has not gone gaga.  Let's be clear, Biden is no Reagan or Clinton, will he change if he gets a thumping in the Mid Terms, from his present polices so far one has to say that Biden does not know how to outrun his base and get on the good side of the US voter.  In a few weeks Title 42 comes to an end at the border, after this finishes one can expect a massive migration surge, that will not go down well with the voter, they will see migration as a threat to jobs, also inflation could go up and Putin ambitions might not just be the Ukraine.  Thus POTUS has snookered himself, as reported in my previous post, Biden has told former President Obama that he wants to run again in 2024, if the Republicans take the House and Senate by big numbers, there will be pressure for Biden not to run, and for other candidates to comes out, otherwise Trump or someone Trump light could WIN in 2024.

It is postulated that the those out of work due to COVID - 19 could reach between three and four million, that will make the early 1980s Thatcher look like happy hour.  Thus as a British PM once said, British jobs for British people will come in to effect.   Those working in the care sector have a difficult and stressful job, and it can take it out of you, your there at the end of someone's life, and with COVID - 19 it has been even more stressful.   Thus a solution is needed, the care workers must get more pay, above the living allowance, no matter their age, and their work should be treated as a profession.   Thus you can influence those out of work to take up these jobs, so you solve two problems at once, unemployment and the care sector.  Sometimes a crisis can give you a reason to do something you should have done before.

The UK after December 31st can make deals with the OLD COMMONWEALTH, we can offer visas as way to sooth the process, also make deals with new emerging powers, like China, as long as they tell the truth about COVID - 19 and treat Hong Kong better, otherwise we will have a new COLD WAR with China, and it will be their FAULT.   It will be nice after December 31st for there to be no more rows about BREXIT, of course the HARD REMAINERS will not let it go, they will want to return to the EU, the Labour Leader, Sir Keir Starmer is a hard remainer, and developed the Labour Policy at the 2019 general election that lead to their worse defeat since 1935.   Thus HARD BREXIT supporters have to keep an eagle eye on the the remainers in the press, Guardian, The Times, Daily Mail, BBC News, Channel 4 News, they will try to push their editorial point of view, as with the above.  Freedom is close folks.

Finally the one thing that really pushed the 2016 voters to vote to leave the EU, the end of freedom of movement, the blame can be placed on the Labour Party, when other countries placed restrictions on immigration in to their countries the UK under Labour did not, thus we gained hundred of thousands of Easter European people coming to the UK for a better life and a better job prospects.   This blog does not have a problem with that, what it does have a problem with is that the Labour Government did not review this as an option, it was well out on the numbers and the consequences on local communities, thus the vote to leave the EU.    After December 31st the Government will need a firm immigration policy, one that benefits the UK population and those wishing to come here, it can be argued that is what the UK VOTER wants.
