Hunter Biden on Former President Biden - Update

Let's Get Real:

One feels sorry for the former President, but there are limits, even his former VP has stated in her memoirs that it was reckless for Biden to run in 2024, it is reported that his Politburo White House thought that Biden would need a wheelchair in his 2nd term if elected.  That they would have to shown signs of life after 6 months to the press.  This is up there when President Woodrow Wilson had a stroke at the end of his term and the 2nd Mrs Wilson was the effective President.  There is also JFK's ill health and affairs that the press did not cover.  There is a trend here folks, Democratic liberal Press and the failure of the press to cover Democrats who are President.  If press had covered Biden at the start of Administration with same vilgance it covers Trump he might not have run in 2024 and we could have had President Harris not Trump in the Oval.

Former VP Harris and the 2028 Presidential race - Update

It would be surprising if former VP Harris becomes the Nominee again, she lost it 2024, this blog can only think of 2 Presidents who came back from losing the general election, they were Nixon in 1968 after losing in 1960 and Trump in 2024 who lost it 2020, whatever he says on the subject.  In 2028, the 1st Democratic Primary will be South Carolina, a large African American vote, that should help Harris and Senator Booker.  The former is not a good candidate, one hopes the Democrats chose a moderate nominee like Bill Clinton or Obama at a push, the 2028 cycle should start after the Mid Terms, there a long list of potential Democratic candidates.

The tapes show why the Special Prosecutor did not bring charges against President Biden, the tapes showed he knew he had classified documents and told his ghostwriter that fact.  There is also fading memory, this shows that the Prosecutor was right.  This does rise an interesting question, who is writing Biden's Presidential memoirs, from reports its a mighty 500 page memoirs.  That is a hundred pages per year of the Biden Presidency, will he tell the complete truth about him losing the plot, how his inner staff protected him and thought he would need a wheelchair in his 2nd term if he got re-elected.  How he had a disastrous debate with Trump, and how the Democrats pushed him out, who had bloody hands in the affair.  The central question should he have run at all for a 2nd term.  VP Harris thought it was a mistake! The Democrats are trying to write Biden out of the picture before 2028.

The review in one word is DAMAGING.  Even CNN won't protect the Bidens.  The reviewer wrote a scathing book about the Biden Campaign in 2024, no punches are held.  JOE BIDEN should have not run 2024 and left the Presidential race to late to HELP VP Harris.  The former President had declined to much to run for a 2nd term.  If had dropped out at an early stage then there could be Democrat in the White House today.

This not a great idea by the former VP, that what happens when people close to her do not tell her truth, she was  not a great candidate in 2024, and she did not face challengers, VP was given the nomination by Biden, after his disastrous debate performance against Trump.  There is also the issue that women have created their own glass ceiling, they do not want a woman President, never mind men.  AFTER the Mid Terms in November, the 2028 cycle starts.

Trump CRITICAL of NATO Again - Update

As the article notes, POTUS has asked for help, but NATO countries have said a big NO, thus illogical remarks later that the US does not need NATO.  The problem for NATO countries is that they will have to carry the military load for the Ukraine and Western Europe.  Trump cannot leave NATO, it would be against US Law.  Before Trump was re-elected, the US passed a law that prevent Presidents leaving NATO.  The law was passed just in case Trump won.   The Oval can make life uncomfortable for the Ukraine and Europe, there will be payback from Trump after the US - Iran WAR is finished.

US shoots down Iranian drone - Update

CNN: Reports that a Iranian drone that was threatening the Abraham Lincoln aircraft Carrier was shot down by the US.

Events like this have caused wars in the past, Gulf of Tolkien incident in 1964, the shooting down by accident of an Iranian passenger jet in the late 1980's, as the US Fleet was protecting tankers from Iranian attack.  The Iranian theocracy is lucky, any other President would have struck Iran, but Trump is a WIMP, he will let the threat go, as there are planned talks in Turkey between Iran and th US.  The MAGA base does not want the US to be the World's Policeman, that is why Trump is a major WIMP.

The sanity of the 2028 race for the Presidency, and for the Democratic Nominee, the front runners so far, Governor Shapiro and former VP and 2024 Nominee VP Harris.  Governor Shapiro has come out fighting and making Harris squirm for 2028, it seems that the Harris team asked in 2024 if the Governor had ever been an agent for Israel, who would ask that kind of question, what was the mind set, and why has Shaprio told this story, 2028 is few years away, but the Governor wants to start making waves, and how and why Harris lost in 2024.   The former VP blamed former President Biden has his debate and late withdrawal from the race,  also she stated in her memoirs that Governor Shapiro wanted to be co-President, not just Vice President.  The VP's memoirs are worth a read, more fun when former candidates are more truthful than you would expect.  Thus Shaprio wants his named as of the front runners for 2028, if WW3 does not happen by then, you cannot tell with Trump.

Former VP Harris is showing why she lost to Trump, CNN and other liberal outlets are going on about International law, that is fine if the operation had gone badly, the Oval Office JUST has to point to the pictures of Maduro in cuffs doing the perp WALK in New York.   International law is fine, but when a operation is a big success, you cheer the Delta Force that captured Maduro and hopes the story fades.  As stated in previous post this is the year of the Mid Terms, one can see the adverts NOW, those that supported Trump and the Democrats who are more interested in the rights of drug deals.  Do the Democrats ever LEARN, or are they jus Doves by nature, and not to be trusted with National Security.

Starmer and Allies seeking decent PEACE in Ukraine - Update

A decent peace in the Ukraine is not going to happen, the US under Trump is in Appeasement mode under Trump and his America First philosophy, his base hates the idea of the US as the world's Policeman after Iraq and Afghanistan failures, the Kremlin in Moscow agrees with them on this issue.  Thus the real question is how much land the Ukraine is going to lose to Russia.   The real question is will the coalition of the willing give solid security guarantees to the Ukraine when Russia comes back for more, thus start WW3.  Interesting days ahead.

This is additional pressure on the Drug Trafficking Venezuela Government.  The US Department of War has sent in the US Navy in to the region.  The aircraft carrier, Gerald R Ford is heading the fleet.  As stated before in this blog, one doubts that POTUS will take military action against the South American country, it would go against his America First pledge of 2024, Venezuela is not Grenada, and Trump is no Ronald Reagan, he does not have the backbone to take action, his political base would not be happy, 2026 Mid Terms are around the corner, Trump does not need a land War in Venezuela, politics never ends in the US.

This is the time for the Ukraine and Western Europe to be very firm with Trump, shout it from the Hill if need be, Europe supports the Ukraine and no peace plan without the Ukraine being part of the process.  Trump can't leave NATO, before the US election, the US Congress removed the decision about leaving NATO from POTUS.  The Oval cannot afford a row with Europe, not with Epstein files about to be released.  Trump is on a sticky wicket at home.

This blog could never see Bush 41 being that frank about Reagan or Biden about Obama.  VP Harris blames Biden, her campaign staff for her loss in 2024, she does not seem to get the fact that outside California she might be a BAD CAMPAIGNER, even Obama from news reports had doubts about her in a general election and wanted her to fight for the Nomination rather than be given it by the powers that control the Democratic Party.  HARRIS is running in 2028.

The former VP states she was not concerned about Biden's capacity as POTUS,  but that he could not run an effective campaign in modern politics against Trump.  The former VP can not bring herself to throw Biden under the bus, worries about what he will say when his book comes out and who he will support in 2028, that is a long time away!! The tradition is for runners for the Oval to wait in till the Mid Terms have passed, that might be a bad political mistak, Harris should head to Iowa and New Hampshire early, the opposition to her will start early.

HARRIS is running in 2028, she almost announced it an interview with the BBC.  Thus Iowa and New Hampshire can expect a visit from the former VP, one would expect just after the 2026 Mid Terms.   IF Trump47 has not declared himself President for Life before 2028!!!, one can expect VP Vance to run, a third Trump term, as Bush 41 did in 1988, a third Reagan term.  That would be a test for POTUS, can he pass the torch to his successor,  can he equal Reagan.

What if Biden had not been forced out by his Party and had won a surprise victory in 2024, the people of the US would have felt they had been conned by the White House and the Democratic Party over his healthy, it is reported that White House staff considered that Biden would need a wheelchair in his 2nd term.  The Democrats have form in this regard, President Woodrow Wilson with his stroke, FDR and his bad health in his final year, JFK with his numerous health problems, he had Dr Feelgood to help him out, the 25th Amendment is never used, they are all afraid of the President.

Either Harris is burning down Rome, sorry the Democratc Party because she has given up politics or she is running in 2028.   The former VP has been honest that it was reckless for Biden to run in 2024, that any success she might have had was seen as negative by Biden's West Wing, that Biden called out her perceived disloyalty before her debate with Trump, that her campaign let her down sometimes, so yes Harris is trying to blame everyone else for her defeat to Trump.  Thus main problem this blogger has found is that she never moved beyond her base, no move to the centre, and she was to loyal to President Biden.   If Harris had been more open in her campaign as she is in her book, she might have won.

There are those that think that former VP Harris will not run in 2028, they are wrong, she argues that President Biden was not as helpful as he could have been, phoning her before the debate with Trump, to scold her from his point of view for not being 100% loyal, just before her debate with Trump.  The former VP also argues that the Biden West Wing though that if she had a good day that Biden did not, she argues that the West Wing should  should have seen seen her success as his success, as he did  want her for VP.   All that is from extracts from book, this blog gets his copy tomorrow, always support your local bookstore.   A rare honest book from a politician is refreshing and shows that Ms Harris is running in 2028, she can argue that she was loyal but was hindered by the Biden West Wing and the President, thus she can call them out in 2028.  Other politicians will have to be honest about the Biden Years.

The European leaders and the UK need to back up President Zelensky of the Ukraine.  IF Kyiv has to give up land to the Russian Bear the Security guarantees have to be rock solid, in legal terms a TREATY passed by the US Congress and the UK Parliament, so if Russia does break the TREATY there will be military action.   This will cost Trump, he might need Democrats to support such a move, the MAGA base of Trump supporters are very isolation in views.

The article notes that VP Harris will not run for Governor of California in 2026, thus it allows her to run again 2028, when Trump term comes to a near end with the Presidential Election in November.   This time there will be a real challenge for the Nomination, and Harris will be seen as a LOSER, after losing to Trump in 2024.  One can bet that Trump whoever he supports on the Republican side, will try and make her a two time LOSER.
