This another slap from Trump, if it was only Trump we could say, your loss, but we have to defend our Gulf Allies, whatever an American President  says, the problem will be the Ukraine, will Trump agree to security guarantees that he agreed to in the past.  Starmer might have shafted the UK and the Ukraine, the coalition of the willing might have to defend the Ukraine alone due to Starmer's obsession with International law.

Long Military Campaign in Iran Planned -Update

Events, boy Events, when asked by a Junior Minister asked a great British PM, what could go wrong.  POTUS will be bruised by the US Supreme Court struck down his tariffs, he will want to be seen as strong, and not look weak, thus POTUS might go for a limited strike on Iran, a long war could be costly, he has not sold the idea to the American people, he said that last attack had destroyed Iran's nuclear capacity, also Sir Keir Starmer is playing games with the US over the use of their bases on UK soil, that is a bad move, Trump has thin skin and holds a grudge, we need the US to give security guarantees to the Ukraine, the PM should be careful, he is the British PM not the Director of Prosecutions any more, he cannot be both.  This blog does not expect an attack this weekend, we are still in the 15 day window that Trump has set as a deadline, in less he goes bonkers and attacks to make point, he has to wait for the USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier to get to the Middle East, it should be there by the Weekend.  Events, boy Events, turn history.

The Trump Oval will hit the roof because of the above comments, POTUS does not liked to be criticised and will take revenge, he is very thin skinned, and might not agree to sign security guarantees, that he has agreed too in the past, thus the War goes on and Ukrainian soldiers and innocent people are killed, Shame on Putin and Russia.

The failure of the TALKS will not go down well with Trump Oval.  TRUMP has places pressure on the Ukraine to make concessions, he has given Russia a free pass, what happens to his June deadline, does it pass like others, or does Trump wash hands of the business, and cuts the Ukraine off when it comes to military aid, the coalition of the willing will have to back the Kyiv Government, the WAR goes on!.

As stated the US is on the side of Putin's Russia when it comes to the Ukraine War, the NATO Allies have buy weapons from the US to give to the Ukraine.  As article notes, the Trump Oval wants to end the Ukraine War by June, Trump wants to clear the decks by the November elections for the Congress.  Trump is a wimp and chickens out in the end, thus expect a bad deal to end the Iranian crisis.  Trump wants quick headlines of another propective war ended by the Trump Oval.  NO matter how bad the deal is, Israel should be on ALERT.

This is down President Trump and his America First policy, thus his demands that Europe spend at least 5% of its GDP on Defence and that Denmark give Greenland to the US.  The Oval has backdown on that demand for a while.   The US expects Europe to fund Ukraine in its war with Russia.  It can be stated that the Trump Oval is more supportive of Russia than of the Ukraine and NATO.   The UK needs to back the Ukraine through Europe, otherwise we could have WW3 in Europe should Ukraine lose to Russia, but the NATO Allies need the US for security guarantees for the Ukraine if they must give up the Donbas, in East Ukraine.

Above is being done after pressure from the Trump Oval, Trump has set a June deadline for there to be peace in the Ukraine War, as the article notes, the Trump Oval could be thinking about the November Elections and wanting an out before the Democrats take over.  This is a hard one to solve.  The Russians have not modified their demands, they want the Donbas, no NATO troops in the Ukraine and for the Ukraine not to join NATO.   The Kyiv Government could do better with the Democrats in control of the Congress, they are more that willing to counter Russia.   Then we have Trump is a WIMP who always chickens out, he could try to force the Ukraine to agree to Russian demands.   When you need a Reagan, no one is about!

That Russians ďemands have not changed, no NATO membership for the Ukraine and no NATO Troops as s security guarantee for the Ukraine.  The Trump Oval has never placed pressure on Russia, Trump is a WIMP, and has been noted that Trump Always Chickens Out when it comes to Russia, when Trump tried to buĺly Europe to give him Greenland, Europe stood firm and bully Trump backed down.  Trump has set June as his deadline for the Ukraine WAR to end, he will place pressure on President Zelensky of the Ukraine, Europe should back KYIV a 100%.   The Europeans might need to support Ukraine if Trump pulls away, on this issue this blog trusts Sir Keir Starmer, even the French.  The War in the Ukraine needs to stay in the Ukraine otherwise we could have WW3.

JUNE is tough, it's very random, Trump could be thinking about the elections in November.  As recent events have shown Trump is a WIMP, he caves to dictator and bullies Allies, as shown by Greenland, the coalition of the willing might need to back Ukraine over the US.  Does any one see Trump putting pressure on Putin, the answer is NO, so Zelensky should expect to be bullied by Trump to give up the Donbas, the Kyiv will only think about that if the coalition of the willing is allowed to place NATO Troops in the Ukraine as a security guarantee.   The Russians will oppose that idea.  As the article notes there will be more talks in Florida, we shall what comes of the talks.

This is the end of the era for treaties to control the nuclear arms of both Russia and the US.  As the article notes Trump wants a new Treaty that includes China, no chance, Russia wants to include the UK and France, no way that will happen, France is only a player on the World Stage because it has Nukes, the UK on the whole is a dependable ally of the US on the ground, of late Afghanistan and Iraq.  The Treaty that outlawed different kinds of Nukes, was the INF Treaty signed by Reagan and Gorbachev, that was allowed to expire, thus Europe would be a battle front should WW3 break out.  The Old order is gone, Nukes were meant to prevent Mutual Assured Destruction in Europe, the Trump Era has destroyed that, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine has shown that Nukes do not prevent Wars, Ukraine gave up its Nukes, after security guarantees from the US and Russia, the assurances were not worth the paper they were written on.   The Coalition of willing and the US are willing to give security guarantees to the Ukraine, and troops on the ground, the Russians object, we are back to pre WW2 days, Russia is Germany and the Ukraine is brave Poland.  The result is still unknown.

The Russians are playing about, they want to keep Trump sweet and for the US to place pressure on Zelensky in Kyiv.   The Kremlim sees Trump as a Lap Dog to Putin, in other words Trump is WIMP aversed to WAR, thus actions in Iran.   Thus more endless talks while the good people of Ukraine die in the cold.

Ukraine ready to play ball over peace - NATO Secretary General

 Sky News: Reports in its 1.27pm post that the NATO Secretary General has stated thar the Ukraine is ready to play ball on a peace deal, even if the Russians won't.

President Zelensky wants a deal, but Putin wants to win the War whatever the cost in lives.   It has been reported of late that Russian advance has been the slowest of any army in a hundred years.  Trump should allow the coalition of the willing to send troops NOW, force Putin to face NATO Troops in the Ukraine, that might shock him back in to reality of war, how many Russian soldiers have to die for his ego, and it is about ego when it comes to the Kremlin. It is time for the Ukraine to get some solid security guarantees from the US and Europe, this WAR has to end, but not with a Russian victory, that would lead to WW3 in the future.

Massive Ballistic strike on the Ukraine - Update

This shows that Russia is not serious about peace, as the article notes the bombing started after midnight after a suppose short Truce as requested by POTUS.  The Russians want to turn the people against the Zelensky government in Kyiv, so far without much luck.   How much can the poor people of the Ukraine take, they are handy souls, but there are limits.  Trump 47 should sign the security guarantees for the Ukraine, this might push Putin to the Peace table, his KGB soul has no remorse! No NATO Tròops for Ukraine - Russia

Sky News: Reports in its 7.46am post that Russia has stated they do not accept the need for NATO tròops in Ukraine as a form of a security by the coalition of the willing.

Lets Get Real:

The Ukraine needs NATO Troops as a security guarantee, to prevent Russia going back on any deal. Former President Medvedev has a habit of sabre rattling, one does question how close he is to Putin.  Any real deal needs a credibility of US and Western Security, in less Trump takes the side of Putin again.

UK and French Forces to be sent to Ukraine if Peace Deal Agreed - Update

Sky News: Reports that UK and French forces will be sent to Ukraine if there is a peace deal.

Lets Get Real:

This agreement by the coalition of willing, is based on Russia agreeing to DEAL.  This blog is not holding its breath for that outcome, this agreement will annoy Putin, and give him the chance to go covert operation on OUR troops should they go to Ukraine.   If Putin agrees then expect trouble and casualties, Russia would like to hurt NATO, see how much casualties that France and the UK can take.  It could turn in to a disaster, thus we need the US as a backstop, the cost could be Greenland.

The Trump Oval would be out of it's mind to invade Greenland, its part of Denmark, a NATO member.  This blog is assuming that Trump is winding up Europe, the UK and others have stated support of Denmark, does Trump want to smash NATO, that would make Putin very happy.  Europe needs the US for security guarantees for Ukraine, perhaps Trump thinks that Europe will trade the Greenland for Ukraine, its a very risky move by the Trump Oval.   Ronald Reagan is turning in his grave, what has the US become under Trump, a colonial power?

The Kremlin will be pushing for ALL demands to be meet, while Trump is a Lap dog to Putin.   MOSCOW will not be happy about the security guarantee given by the US, it won't give a ceasefire to allow for a referendum, Putin in his black heart wants the whole of the Ukraine and Baltic States back, he wants the Russian Empire back, he is an Imperialist, he thinks the end of the USSR was the biggest tragedy of the 20th Century.

The Russian version cooked up by the US and Russia has been binned, the new plan is more Ukraine cantered, not gifts for the Russians for invading, the Donbas would become a Free Economic Zone, but with the Ukraine doing policing of the area.   The Army would stay at eight hundred thousand and the Ukraine would get NATO like security guarantees, one presumes with the coalition of the willing to safe guard the border, and to prevent any violations.  One doubts that the Russians will sign up, they are winging the gradual war in the Donbas and they will want to show to the Russian public that they have won, after the cost in troops in treasure.  Thus more endless talks, Europe will have to back Ukraine, the era of Pax America is over.

BBC News: Reports that President Zelensky has moved to accept a Free Economic Zone or a non Military Zone, with the coalition of the willing as back up, also a security guarantee from the US.

Moscow will say NO, why bother asking them or it will be a Yes,But.  Putin wants the whole of Donbas, he has made the CLEAR, Europe will have to defend the Ukraine or they are NEXT, and they are part of NATO, thus WW3.  Poor Ukraine.

US to offer Security Guarantees to Ukraine - Update

CNN: Reports that the Trump Administration is offer iron clad security guarantees to Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

As the article makes clear, the US offer is time sensitive, in other words Trump wants a quick answer.  The Oval wants the Nobel Peace Prize, thus will do anything to get it, thus forcing him to place pressure on Putin, his tyrant buddy to accept the deal if Europe and the Ukraine agree to a peace deal.  The question what kind of security guarantees will be, do they need Senate Approval, if not, then they are not worth the paper they are written on.  POTUS cannot be trusted, to come and support the Ukraine should Russia come back for more, and they will at some time.
