EU and NATO united against Russia - Update

BBC News: Reports the following, " The  heads of Nato and the European Commission have warned that Russia is growing increasingly reckless and vowed to respond to a "new normal ".

Let's Get Real:

Worthy words are fine, the problem is the Russian Bear only listens to REAL action, it wants to see NATO Troops in the Ukraine, then it will back off, actions of terrorism by Russia on a NATO Country is an ACT OF WAR, an undeclared war, but still War, do the Russians have to invade a NATO Country or strike with a drone.    This is the time to take preventive action, STOP something before it happens, after modern politicians learned nothing from the 1930s and Appeasement.  The new UK PM is a Cambridge English Graduate, and Trump is delusional, God Help US.

Trump threats on Countries that do not support the US taking over Greenland - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 3.46pm post that US President Trump has threatened to place Tariffs on Countries that do not support his take over Greenland.

Lets Get Real:

This is a daft idea, even by Trump's standards, NATO would fall apart if he annexed Greenland, as he would have to place Tariffs on the whole of Europe.  Trump is a wimp, as shown by Iran policy.  Even Trump would not destroy NATO, if he did,  the US Congress would impeach him, and the Senate could force him out! Does he want to be another Nixon, one has doubts!  The Oval is turning in to blowhard of ideas that are not meet by reality.

Referendum on Donbas - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 12.06pm post that President Zelensky is open to a referendum on the Donbas if a ceasefire can be agreed.

Lets Get Real:

The Ukraine leader has stated if talks do not go well with Trump then Ukraine will hold a referendum on the Donbas.  The most recent poll shows 75% of the Ukraine people do not want to give Russia the Donbas, they must recall Munich 1938 and the Appeasement of Hitler by Neville Chamberlain and the West, that lead to parts of Czechoslovakia being given to Nazi Germany.  In 1939, Hitler took the rest of Czechoslovakia, the Ukraine is the modern Czechoslovakia, this time the West cannot fail, it would lead WW3

Kyiv hit again by Russia - Update

BBC News: Reports in its 11.38am post that Kyiv has been hit again by the Russians, before Zelensky meets Trump in Florida.

Lets Get Real:

This is the Kremlin response to the new peace plan that has been developed by Ukraine and the US.  PUTIN sees Trump as his puppet, so hopes Trump returns to his pro Russian peace plan.   The Europeans must be worried by the erratic Trump, they need to keep him on board for US security guarantees for NATO and the West in general.  Interesting weekend ahead.

90 billion Euros to Ukraine - Update

BBC News Reports in its 9.38am post that the EU is to loan the Ukraine 90 billion Euros to fight the Russians.

Lets Get Real:

This is a way of doing it, it is not Russian frozen Assets held in Belgium.  This will annoy Putin, he is making claims that Ukraine is retreating on all fronts, typical Russian false claims, the WAR is costing Russia in men and resources, as long as the West, in this case Europe funds Ukraine by whatever means then the WAR can go on.  Russia cannot be allowed to win.

12 hour attack and 600 drones hit Kyiv - Trump47

BBC News: reports on a 12 hour attack on Kyiv with 600 Drones.

Lets Get Real:

This is an outrageous attack on Kyiv, people stuck in shelters and people killed.  The Oval should DO SOMETHING, Putin is wrecking the Ukraine, the cost of rebuilding will be billions, and the psychological impact can be counted in years.   The EU must increase military aid to Kyiv, they must be able to counter the Russian Bear, and it's WAR CRIMES, the US Eagle must fly high and with vengeance.

US calls for India and Pakistan to work together over tensions- Trump47

Guardian:  Reports in its 3.40pm post that Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State has called on Pakistan and India to work together to decrease the tensions between the two.

Lets Get Real:

RUBIO is Secretary of State and interim National Security Advisor, and other job titles.  It seems for now that Trump trusts him to deal with the issue of Pakistan and India.  Rubio should fly to India and Pakistan and tell both sides to decrease the military tensions, its getting to risky, there is always the threat of nuclear war, both sides have Nukes.  EVEN a cricket ground has been hit by a drone, and both sides love  Cricket, enough is enough.

 Sky News: Reports in its 5.55pm post that the US has discussed land and ownership of a nuclear plant in the Ukraine with Russia.

This feels like a carve up, Munich 1938, and the Target is the Ukraine, Trump47 is Neville Chamberlain and Putin is Adolf Hitler, what will the UK and France do this time, Appeasement or fight Russia, the same goes for the EU, the omens are not good, the Trump Oval is seems to think that the UK is posing, having a Churchill moment, we shall see, Developing.

This could be another Munich 1938 by phone, what will Trump give to Russia, will the Ukraine get any of its land back, this blog has doubts, will the Ukraine have a VETO, and what about Europe, they have an military operationl meeting on Thursday, will they have a VETO, tomorrow will be interesting.

Putin - Yes on Ceasefire but Conditions- Trump47

The Russian Bear is setting conditions, an overall YES, but with buts, they are playing for time.  They are wasting time, they are winning in Kursk region of Russia, they have made it clear that they reject NATO Troops for any peacekeeping role, also they are still complaining about NATO expansion since the end of the Cold War.  Developing! 

Russian Demands for Ceasefire in the Ukraine - Trump47

Lets Get Real:

The demands in themselves are and it follows previous pattern, no NATO membership for the Ukraine, No NATO Troops in the Ukraine, and that Russia keeps what it has invaded.  One will see how much of a pawn Trump is to Putin, he could agree to these demands, and try to force the Ukraine to accept them, Zelensky could say he has European support for troops, depends how much three Parties, Russia, US and the coalition of the willing are willing to risk, and who is bluffing.

Ukraine and US to hold talks next WEEK - Trump47

BBC News: Reports that President Zelensky will hold talks with the US on the future of the War in Saudi Arabia.

Is this a good idea, Zelensky has kissed the Trump47 ring, EU says it will spend billions of Euros on Defence, we shall see if it happens, the EU never moves that fast.  The Saudi Arabia meeting could be a disaster, it could be Munich 1938 again.  POTUS might want a quick deal with Russia at the expense of the Ukraine, can Sir Keir Starmer and President Macron control Trump 47, he is an apologised for Russia, a pawn, a new Neville Chamberlain.

BBC News:  Reports in its 10.45am post that Russia opposes European Troops in the Ukraine, and must be consulted on any troops.

Moscow wants a VETO on any peacekeeping troops in Ukraine, they see Trump47 as a major appeaser, the catch might be Europe and the UK.  The UK and those countries willing to defend the Ukraine, might be called upon sooner than expected, its not just the Donald and Vlad show, this feels like 1938 all over again, let's hope its has a different end, and we don't have WW3.

Zelensky ready to sign mineral deal with the US - Trump47

 Sky News Reports in its 10.35pm post that President Zelensky is ready to sign a minerals deal with the US.

This eruption in the Oval was not planned, but it might work to benefit the Ukraine, Europe, or the coalition of the willing have given security guarantees to the Ukraine, if Trump goes through with the deal on minerals, US workers will be working in the Ukraine, a form of security guarantee in other words.  Let's hear from Trump and Moscow to see their mind set.

Sky News: Reports that President Trump has stated that the Ukraine have no cards to play in the WAR with Russia.

Lets Get Real:

Ukraine can say NO to any deal agreed by the US and Russia.  It's like Trump's idea to take over Gaza, it is not going to happen, without US ground troops, it is hot air from Trump, and Europe will have to do something, it will be Baltic States next, if EU does not act, and that means the UK too, we are living in a upside down world, our worst nightmares are coming true!

Trump Critical of President Macron and UK PM Starmer - Trump47

BBC News: Reports in its 4.46pm post that President Trump has been critical of the French and UK leadership when it comes to the Ukraine.

Who does Trump think he is, if the US cuts off military aid to the Ukraine, then EU and UK will have to take its place,  it has happened before, in 1947, the UK could not defend Greece and Turkey against the Comminist threat, and the US took over World Leadership, it might be time for the EU and the UK take over from the US, shame Trump, it took in till 1917 for the US to get in to WW1, 1941 for WW2, while the US is going through its Appeasement phase with Trump, there are the Mid Terms in 2026 and a new Presidential Election in 2028, shame the devil as they say.

Lets Get Real:

What if President Trump says NO, what if he wants to sell out the Ukraine because he is impressed by tyrants.  That would force the European Governments in to WAR MODE, one cannot rule out the return of conscription, at least the new recruits would be to taught read and write, even a trade.  The European Capitals should think this 1914 again, after a long peace, welfare has to be cut, the super rich, have to pay high rate is taxes , one cannot rule out WW3, the Russians will be back for more, as Hitler did with Czechoslovakia Republic in 1938/39.  IF the US wants to avoid WW3 it will have to be a security stop even if does not want to be, the World has changed for the worse, and there is no Reagan in the Oval and Thatcher at 10 Downing Street.

 Guardian: Reports in its 7.59 post that President Trump called the British PM, Sir Keir Starmer, there will be a meeting in due course.

Lets Get Real:

The call should be of no surprise, after Sir Keir stated that nothing would stop the Ukraine from joining NATO.  The US will need the UK and Europe to support any PEACE DEAL worth the name, Trump47 does not want to be seen as another appeaser in the same league as Neville Chamberlain, the Trump Oval has jumped before thinking at the end point.  GOOD  call by Sir Keir.

Canada given a Month to solve drug problem at the border - Trump47

The White House: Reports that President Trump has ordered a delay of 30 days to the Tariffs on Canada,  thus to allow Canada to clean up the drug problem on its border.

Lets Get Real:

This was a silly trade war started due to problems on the Southern border with Mexico, over immigration and with Canada over drugs, Mexico promised to send ten thousand troops to the border, will this pause make a difference, we shall see, the EU is next, what of the UK, who will they support in a trade war.

UK to give more support to the Ukraine - UK PM

BBC News:  Reports in its 4.35pm post that UK PM has stated more support for the Ukraine this year.

Lets Get Real: 

The policy on the Ukraine will test the unity of the EU and the UK, if Trump 47 pulled the plug on funding, then Europe will have to decide, welfare or military support for the Ukraine.  As with the Tariffs battle, Trump is not afraid to hit allies badly in the pocket.   The Kremlin will look on and bounce on weakness.  Interesting time ahead for NATO.
