The dream match up would have been Obama vs Trump, one bringing HOPE the other would be FEAR, to be fair it can be stated that both Barack Obama and Donald Trump hate each other, it was joke at the expense of Trump at the Presidential Press Dinner  that allowed Trump to run 2016, there had been reports in earlier cycles that he was running, but he bided him time, it was reported that Trump thought he would lose in 2016 to Hillary Clinton but wanted to start his own TV Channel.  But the Trump was lucky in  2016 and he beat Hillary Clinton in the Electoral College.  That luck did not last in 2020 when he was beaten by Joe Biden, but Trump enjoyed BEING President, and he ran in 2024 and at first against Biden who was forced out due to a very bad debate performance, then VP Harris who become the Democratic Nominee.  Trump won the electoral college and beat Harris by taking the swing states.  If we go back 2009 when OBAMA won his First terms against the War hero John McCain, he was about hope, he was lucky the US Special Forces killed OBL of 9/11 infamy and saved the American Car industry.  The election of the first African - American President was seen as confirming that the US had come long war from the 1960s.   Then reality bit, enough to make it a real contest between Obama vs ROMNEY, although Obama won in the end he stated that Romney was fighting the Cold War, this was hostage of for the future, when Putin took over the Crimea with a soldiers in green uniform, OBAMA did not rate the Russian Federation, it was seen as a petrol station with Oil, thus when Putin invaded the East Ukraine it was down to President Biden to act, it was reported that Biden had thought Obama was weak for not acting in a tough with Putin, Trump stated that would solve the Ukraine - Russia on his 1st day as President, we are still waiting for that outcome, it is reported today that the parties Ukraine, Russian and the US will meet in November for new fresh talks.   In 2016 it was reported that Obama thought his VP, Joe Biden should not run because he was still affected by the death his son.  Thus HRC got the nomination of the Democratic Party and was the first woman to head the ticket, the problem was after 8 years Obama voters  wanted a complete change thus Trump.  Only VP to move to the Oval Office after being VP was Bush 41 under the great  Ronald Reagan, if take in to account the assassination of JFK who's  Vice - President was LBJ.  Then the Resignation of Richard Nixon in 1974 and the succession of VP Ford.   At the end of Presidency Obama had 58% job approval, Reagan and Clinton had higher Job approval ratings.  Thus if Obama had been more popular Clinton could have won and Biden could have challenged Trump.  Thus US election cycles made it impossible for great politicians Trump and Obama to face each other, one dares to think what kind of fight it would be, hope or fear winning,

One had assumed this troubling issue had been solved, 48 to 72 hours can be an age in military terms, and with a City ceasefire one can assume that the Russians will launch heavy attacks on the areas not covered by a ceasefire and if the Ukraine reacts the Russians will say it was the fault of Kyiv.  The Russian Bear can never be trusted, its paws want the whole of Ukraine.

What is the point of the US State Department?  The First Lady can get a ceasefire but Trump and Rubio have failed, one doubts that Putin will play around when the US First Lady, she seems the only one to frighten Trump, it seems she not that impressed with Putin, and tells POTUS that when he comes home from Oval Office.  The details of this ceasefire is important, when it starts and also when does it finish.  If it can hold, on doubts that by the way, the First Lady should try her hand at the bigger picture, getting a ceasefire for the WHOLE of the Ukraine.

Iran is a constant trouble for POTUS, he started the War which saw oil prices go through the roof and could be the reason that Trump will lose US Congress to Democrats.   The Trump Oval has blamed Ukraine for the pain of the pump to voters who have a car, not his WAR of choice being Iran.  Both Trump and Putin have started WARS they cannot finish, Trump does not have the guts to finish of the theocracy in Iran, it takes ground troops and nerve of steel, Trump talks big  but never follows through.  If the report is true it will come to late for the Republicans to save their majorities in the US Congress.  Trump should wipe the theocracy away from Iran, it would benefit in the long term and the West.  It could bring peace to the Middle East, since the Islamic Revolution of 1979 the cancer of Iran has grown, and is a constant threat to the Middle East and the West and been a constant to the Man behind the Oval Desk.

This is Russia play acting, it has no interest in giving concessions, but wants one man to believe what it says, that is President Trump.  Over the last few years Trump has shown total loyalty to Putin, and been highly critical of the Ukraine President.  The Trump has stated that the Ukraine needs a new President, who will do as he is told BY Trump and Putin.   Thank the lord that Trump was not around for WW2, the US would have supported Germany, as it would fit with America First doctrine.  The supposed technical talks will start in November 10th, after the US Mid Terms and the start of the 2028 Presidential cycle.  In a Washington with the Democrats in charge of the House and even the Senate, the Democrats can be a force to support Ukraine, passing laws that will fun the Ukraine, it will be curious if Trump has the will to VETO such laws and how much Republican support that he will have to sustain a VETO, where are the Republican Reagan supporters, they used to care for national security of the US and the Western Alliance.

The above is pointless, the Ukraine will not give up parts of the Donbas it controls and Russians still has its maximalist demands.  As the article notes Trump has been placing pressure on the Ukraine to give UP the Donbas in East Ukraine to Russia and Zelensky has said no.  The coalition of the willing will have to have a presence at the talks, as they don't trust Trump alone with Putin! This will be opposed by Moscow, the Kremlin does not want foreign troops as a security presence in the Ukraine.  Thus pointless talks

The Russians still have their maximalist demands and the Ukraine will not give the Donbas to the Russians.  There have been false dawns in the Ukraine War, the Russians want the whole of the Donbas, the Ukraine to become a pawn of Russia, no NATO membership, no foreign troops on the ground, they also want some NATO States not to be part of NATO, like Poland and the Baltic States, thus no concessions from Moscow, thus back at the start.  It will take a new President in the US for the Ukraine to win.

The Trump Oval cannot be trusted, and the security of the Ukraine and Western - Eastern Europe is at stake.  Europe needs to get one Army that can go in to the Ukraine, the US Army can not do that with ERRATIC Trump and a even Dummer Vice - President.  The Kyiv Government needs up to dare intelligence not the whims of Trump.  The Ukrainian President needs Europe to be UNITED, he needs a reliable ally, the poor people of the Ukraine will freeze to death if the Russians carry in with their strikes on energy sources.  Also if Putin does attack a NATO country one is not sure what action Trump will take.

The Trump Energy ceasefire came from nowhere, it seems neither Putin or Zelensky agreed beforehand, Zelensky stated that he will agree but will hit Russian energy sources if Putin carries on with his attacks.  The West  and Canada have been critical of Trump and his energy ceasfire, it is Appeasement to the level of Neville Chamberlain in 1938.  The Ukraine is modern Czechoslovakia, the West should send troops in to the Ukraine, that would stop Putin games, where is the Churchill of today,  the West needs to be resisting Putin and support the Ukraine.

The US should support Saudi Arabia should it react to this double ATTACK by  the Houthi of Yemen who support Iran.  This is a fundamental threat to the Western economy, higher the price oil, the more customer has to pay at petrol stations, thus increase in inflation,  its a vicious circle, the West in the shape of the US and UK should be part of any military action.

The new plan will benefit Russia, one can say that before the plan is released, the Trump Oval is the puppet of President Putin, the plan is always the same, Ukraine will have to give concessions to Russi!  Trump must have the state of mind that great powers deal, and small countries have to obey, this is not the Yalta conference of 1945, when the US and UK gave major concessions to the then USSR.   The Kyiv Government has a VETO, its cards are the coalition of the willing countries that support the Ukraine.  One awaits but without hope that Trump finally get the message, Modern Russia is not the USSR! Its 2026 not 1945.

Trump has to get real with Putin and demand answers, no more being his puppet.  If its a bad leak then allow the US to help, they have the resources to curb any threat.  The Western economy can not cope with extended lockdown.

The Russians are pushing their options before winter, they are trying to destroy the energy sector in the Ukraine, the want the poor people of the Ukraine to freeze to death, or starve to death!  The Coalition of the willing has to up its game, this blog has stated that the UK should place troops in Ukraine, draw a line in the sand, this far and no further, before Russia attacks Poland or the Baltic States, a bully has to be stopped before it leads to WW3.  This is the time for action not faint hearts.

The Russians are trying to cover up the story, this means anything they say on the subject must be suspect.  The World can not afford to wait to see what happens, do we want another lockdown in Western Europe, the US and the rest of the World must demand real answers.  It will be interesting to see how Putin reacts, does he demand that any one allowed his presence must be checked for the PLAGUE signs.   If treated early it can be stopped, but if not treated then the life expectancy is ZERO.   The fact that the Russians released the news should be a worry, if it had been checked with the one death and the lab cleared, then the Russians would have hidden story, nothing happens in Russian without the permission of Putin, its a one man state.  The West should be on alert, this could be serious and a event more serious than COVID.  It would be better if the US and its were allowed to help Russia, if they refused we know we are in trouble.

UK is not seen as secure by the US, as the article notes the US is afraid of an Iranian plot to hit the base after its use to bomb Iran in its war with the US.  This blog is fast coming to the conclusion that the UK should become part of the EU under old terms.  The threat from Russia is pushing this leave supporter to voting yes to return to the EU, because POTUS is flaky we cannot trust the US to be with the UK and Europe should there be a WW3.

The fact that the Russians have been open about a death worries this blog, if it was under control, we would not have heard about the incident, Russia under Putin is a close state.  The UK and the USA should be on ALERT, if Putin goes to his bunker, then World knows that it is  not under control or demands the people are tested before being allowed in his presence as with Covid.  On the whole this could be one off death, Russia will say we have been warned!

The Russians are trying to destroy the heart of Kyiv, as much as the US tried to destroy the Capital of North Vietnam, it did not work as Vietnam was fighting for unification, Kyiv is fighting for the survival as a democracy, it cannot be allowed to surrender, as the whole of Easter Europe would come under threat.  Western Europe has to defend the Ukraine or we all under threat.  The US is a shaky ally under Trump, Europe should be united in its defence of Kyiv and the Ukraine.

This is Putin placing logs on the fire just in case he wants to invade Poland or the Baltic States over the next year.  Putin could use made up incident in Kaligrad. This is the phony war period of WW2, it is building now for Putin to take action in 2026 or 2027, he needs Trump in the Oval to appease him and for NATO to surrender.  The crisis is coming and it will be very cold.
