This is Tehran warning the World, it can hit anywhere it wants in the Middle East and further afield. The US and the West have to take the attack seriously, they should respond and warn Iran off, they are getting bolder, where next, Europe.  The US SHOULD carry on with its strikes, Tehran Regime had to be bought down, for the safety of humanity.

BBC News: Reports that President Trump has stated that Europe is decaying due to Immigration and being lead by Weak leaders, and Russia is bigger than Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

Trump is very frustrated, he wants that Nobel Peace Prize.  The Oval thinks if he had get Kyiv to cave to Russia, then he could get the Price, he is that delusional, the Committee in Norway will never give him yet, they hate him.  As for his European comments, he could be right, uncontrolled migration is a problem, it did in the Roman Empire, also bad economics developments, devalue of the currency.   The UK and Europe are aware of the problem and are not tough enough to deal with issue.  All civilisation end sooner or later, Egypt, Rome, UK and now its American turn to their power decline.

This should worry the outside world, thus a need for Arab force from Turkey, Egypt, and the Gulf States under a UN peacekeeping mandate to secure the peace on the Ground, Hamas cannot be allowed to take over the governance of Gaza, they have to disarm and allow Tony Blair to run the place under the lead of POTUS.  The World awaits the release of the hostages.

A lot of headway being made in Israeli and Hamas talks - Turkey

Sky News: Reports in its 5.13pm post that a lot of headway is being made in the Israeli and Hamas talks in Egypt.

Lets Get Real:

This blog is now hopefull that  the talks will be successful, if the talks had gone badly we would have heard about it in the last few days.  But has to be recalled that Hamas is a terrorist group, will they give up their weapons and give up the government of Gaza to POTUS and Tony Blair, this blog has doubts, never trust a terrorist and don't do deals with them ever.

Anniversary of 7th of October 2023 - Israel

BBC News: Reports in its 9.14am post on the Anniversary of the 7th of October 2023  when Hamas attacked Israel and killed over a thousand,  and took hostages in to Gaza.

This is day of remembrance, for those killed and those still held as hostage in Gaza.  The talks in Egypt are still o going? Lets hope for good news, but recall that Hamas is a terrorist group, what they do actually matters, more than words.

BBC News: Reports that the Israeli Government has accepted the US deadline for the hostages, it will be Saturday at noon.

Lets Get Real:

The Oval has set the deadline for the hostages, Hamas will have to decide does it want to cross Trump and face the consequences, or release the hostages in one go or try to release them as planned a couple at a time.  The Trump Oval wants Gaza, who has the will to say no, what about Egypt or Jordan.  Time will tell!

Someone needs to control Trump, his idea has received negative views around the World.  NEITHER Jordan or Egypt want 2.2 million more refugees, the age of Empire's has gone, also Trump's plan would break international law.  The White House  Chief of Staff needs to make that Trump does not cause an international crisis, next will be the Ukraine, more aid or NATO countries will have to fund Kyiv, oh for the quiet days of Biden.

This is not a bad idea, the two state solution, is as dead as dodo, everything has been tried from the Presidencys of Bill Clinton to Bush 43, and Palestinians have said No, they got nearly all they wanted from Bill Clinton but would not bend a little.  Thus the Palestinians should think about this plan, and not just say NO, the West would give funds, Jordan and Egypt would be doing a big favour for the Palestinians, the rich Arab countries could be expected to give money, its an idea worthy of discussion.

Lets Get Real

THIS was a mild critic, in other wise full of praise statement.  NO American of a certain age can forget 444 days that Iran held 52 American hostages, the depression of the Carter years, the invasion of Afghanistan, the inflation of the 1970s.  The judgment was simple no American candidate wants to be compared to Jimmy Carter!  There was the success of Camp David Accords, bringing peace between Israel and Egypt.  Lets send our sympathy to the Carter family today.

This would be good news for Egypt, after the political turmoil of the past few years, the finding of Cleopatra and Mark Antony would make World headlines, what if the skeletons are still there, and what other finds might be there.   The historical figures of Cleopatra and Mark Antony have become immortal through history.  Of course we shall see if the claim pans out, they are still trying to find the grave of Alexander the Great, if it happens it would make BREAKING NEWS around the World.

Tony Blair seems to thrive when he is under pressure, yes he can look like a broken man sometimes, but then there comes the second wind and he defends his position.   AS the Inquiry is now over the headlines will fade, events change as a old British PM said.   Thus one can expect Blair to use his political powers to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour Party needs a new Tony Blair and must learn to love the old one, or at least like.   Time is always going forward, events, events.

Let us recall that Tony Blair won a general election in 2005, that was two years after the War started,  he was only pushed out by Gordon Brown in 2007, at least he had a year's grace period, Lady Thatcher had just five days.   THIS blog will never understand how Labour can turn its back on Blair, he won them three election after being out of power for nearly 18 years.  The Iraq War was a mistake based on faulty information, that can happen to any leader, as suggested in my last post, Iraq will not be the last War that he UK gets in too, there will be others, memories fade, bitter memories even fade, the UK acted in Libya under PM Cameron, at least Cameron did not send in ground troops,  then there is always Syria, this blog has argued that it will take ground troops to get rid of Daesh in Syria.  This blog saw this morning that President Obama is keeping eight thousand four troops in Afghanistan, and wants NATO to add more, crisis points change, Blair did the best he could, you can ask nothing more of a leader. 

The Latest Terror Update - Paris Attacks

Telegraph - Live Blog: Reports the following in its 6.28pm post, " Breaking: Hannover stadium evacuated, match cancelled...Hannover stadium is currently being evacuated ahead of a friendly match between Germany and the Netherlands. A suspicious suitcase found in the stadium reportedly led to the evacuation. "

Lets Get Real:

It could be another terror attack or someone has just left a suitcase, in these days it better to be cautious, terrorists should never be allowed to win, but the authorities main job is to protect the people, you can have football match another day.    This is one of the reasons that Daesh has to be destroyed, they cause this kind of panic, the Police have to take any report as a real threat, thus better for the Police to act than be wrong.

Manhunt in Paris for Get Away Terrorist

Lets Get Real:

The terrorist attack in Paris shows how much a threat to Europe that Daesh is, it has thus far hit Russia with the downing of the Russian plane in Egypt, hit Lebanon and now Paris, one can only assume that the UK and the US are also targets, lets hope MI5 and the FBI are on the case, at least its harder to get guns in the UK, well one hopes.  Our thoughts should be with the families of the 129 killed and concern for those that were injured.    The terrorist has to be lucky once, the Police and government authorities have to lucky all the time.    This is going to be a long WAR on TERROR. 

UK reaction to Daesh and the BOMBED plane

BBC News: Reports " All flights between the UK and Sharm el-Sheikh have been suspended on Wednesday evening as UK experts assess security at the Egyptian airport. "

Lets Get Real:

The UK Government has to make sure before any tourists are returned to the UK that their planes  are safe.  If that is not a 100%, no chance should be taken, the tourists should be taken home by land, through Israel, their airports are 100% safe.   The UK has to place more pressure on Daesh in Iraq and help with the problem in Syria with drones and have our pilots in the airplanes of our allies.   The threat of Daesh is ever growing, how many places can you bomb in Syria, the West needs to take back land in Syria and Iraq.   This is going to be a long War. 

The UK and Egypt - After Russian Crash

 10 Downing Street: Reports. " While the investigation is still ongoing we cannot say categorically why the Russian jet crashed. But as more information has come to light we have become concerned that the plane may well have been brought down by an explosive device.

In light of this and as a precautionary measure we have decided that flights due to leave Sharm for the UK this evening will be delayed. That will allow time for a team of UK aviation experts, currently travelling to Sharm, to make an assessment of the security arrangements in place at the airport and to identify whether any further action is required. We expect this assessment to be completed tonight.

In terms of flights from the UK to Sharm, there are no more departures today.

We would underline that this is a precautionary step and we are working closely with the airlines on this approach. The Prime Minister will chair a COBR at 6:45pm to review the situation and we will provide an update after that meeting. "

Lets Get Real:

IT can be postulated that new information came from sources within UK intelligence, the Government must make sure that ALL flights from Sharm are safe for British citizens.   There must also be pressure on Egypt to upgrade its security for the region.  Thus far Egypt and Russia have been quite about this development, as stated in previous blog they have had reasons for the crash to be seen as technical, in the Russian case its attacks on Daesh in Syria, they do no want to see a connection between the two, and in the case of Egypt they need tourists to come to Egypt, if it was a bomb, this will hit the tourist trade.  This is developing story. 

No Terrorist Act - The US Government

Lets Get Real:

Thus you have claim and counter claim and that is from the people who should know what in the hell is going on, of course there are reasons why both Russia and Egypt might want the plane crash to be an accident,  on the view fro Egypt a terror attack would be BAD for the tourist trade, the Country has just recovered from the counter revolution from the Army, it needs the tourist trade for dollars, while Putin in Russia does not want the view to form within the Russian people that the actions of Putin in Syria lead to this attack, that might cause Russians to question their popular President.   Thus nothing over in till its over. 

What to do about Libya? - The New War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

The threat IS is all over the Middle East and Africa, the international community through the UN should take on the issue, even create an international force to take out IS in areas not under attack by the West, the US and its allies are taking the War to the IS in Syria and Iraq, the UN should create a new force with the sole aim of the destruction of IS within 5 years. At some point the UN has to earn  its  keep, even Iran hates IS.   The more the West waits the more IS will grow, then Western ground troops will be needed to remove IS, do Western governments want to imagine Western troops as prisoners of War under the control of IS.   Thus TIME FOR ACTION by the West. 

The Growth of IS - The New War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

The major strategic mistake of the Obama Administration in 2011 was to leave Iraq, after the US left we see the growth if IS from Syria to Iraq and now to the above Countries.    The US still has around ten thousand troops in Afghanistan, thus they back back up the Afghan Government and forces, in Egypt the new President has cracked down on the Muslim Brotherhood and is fighting IS. in Libya its a mess, that what happens after you lead from behind.  In Yemen the US backed government has fallen to a Iran back group, while Al Qaeda has moved to take over Yemeni military bases.    The perception of success in Yemen as stated by the Obama Oval is now another Tehran gain.    The next US President, be he or she will have  a tough job after the mess of the Obama years, in a few months we see the result of the Iran talks, there is fear in Israel that Obama will take a BAD deal over no deal, thus that could lead to Israel bombing Iran.   Tense days ahead in the Middle East. 

Israel vs. The Obama Oval - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real:

The Israeli PM and the US President do not get along, the main focus now is Iran, the Oval Office wants a BAD deal, any deal over no deal.    The  Oval Office knows that if there is no deal there is a chance that the US will have to take military action against Iran for its nuclear development.   The Israeli Government feels that a nuclear armed Iran is a THREAT to its existence, thus is placing pressure on the US not to take a bad deal.   The visit to the US Congress is the reaction the State of the Union address by the President were he stated that he would veto any new sanctions against Iran.   The Israeli Government is placing pressure on the US through the Israeli lobby to be tough with Iran, at present ALL it sees is weakness.    In this debate one has to give ones support for Israel, they feel under threat, and its their neighbourhood.
